Sir... when taking a van. naturally, you will be packed together with other passengers. some are packed 4 persons every row and others are 3... if you can afford it, you can pay the other spaces. ex. if the row is for 4 people, you can pay 2 extra amount and the row is exclusive for 2 of you... and, if you are the first person going the van, you can choose what row you like. just, negotiate with the driver or dispatch person.

Another alternative island is ROMBLON. It is near (boat ride) from Mindoro. The island of Romblon is the Marble Capital of the Philippines. You will be able to see different marble products, experience fine beaches and diving sites as well as mountain/inland resorts.

Since the rehabilitation of Boracay, there were new requirements implemented like hotel bookings prior to boarding the boat from Caticlan to Boracay and quite a few more. Better check on those before you head to the place. That island is so beautiful and has a lot to offer for tourists

On your first vlog on your way to Puerto Galera i mentioned things to do and TIPS!!! I guess you haven't read them. Anyway as I've mentioned there is a transport terminal a few meters from Candava supermarket. You can ask a trike to drop you off there. There are vans going to Calapan you will ride the van fare is P50 per person/seat. You can pay extra seats or pay for the entire row if you want more space or leg room. Now more often than not your van driver from Puerto Galera already has a contact with another van in Calapan where they will transfer you to. That van you transferred to will then ply the southern route and take you to Roxas port. Travel time around 3hours and fare is around P300 per person/seat. Tell the driver to drop you off at the gate or near the gate of Dangay Roxas port. From the port take the Starlite ferry to Caticlan. Ferry fare less than P1000 per person I'm not sure of the exact amount. Travel time 4hours Puerto Galera to Boracay
NOTE: here is what we did
*Leave Puerto Galera early at 5am to catch the first van going to Calapan at 5:30.
    * Ferry schedules are unreliable, we know that. It's a hit or miss. Just wait it out. It is still more practical than going back to Batangas or Manila.
In our case, we left Puerto Galera hoping to catch the ferry at Roxas port with the published schedule leaving at around 11am. When we arrived there the ferry ticket booth informed us that there was no ferry available sailing for the morning. We were there at 9:30am . We ended up waiting from 9:30am till 2pm. We boarded the ferry at around 3pm. Ferry left port at almost 4pm. Now, this can be a bummer just outside the gates of Dangay Roxas port there are INNS. You can prefer to stay in any of those so you can be more comfortable in case you have to wait for several hours for the ferry.
Negotiate with the hotel/inn manager or owner to charge you per hour or tell them you want to book for short time as you're just waiting for ferry arrival.

The main island Iloilo is on, Panay, also has Aklan (where Caticlan is), Passi, Antique, and Capiz. So many cool nature places you can visit, and another 'offshoot' island like Boracay, Guimaras, where strictly we have the export quality protected mango plantations are and many white sand beaches as well. Good idea to jus chill & enjoy the beach life. Yes we used to go snorkeling a lot. Back in those days the corrals were still pretty "raw" untouched, but am guessing by now its suffered a great deal of damage & probably why uhav to go to a "designated spot" where thers still good coral reef & marine life. Ah😌 its pretty much the same scenario with other "tourist" places nowadays, the corral reef have been affected, the beautiful spot in El Nido that was once so pristine is now filled with tourists & its been alteady "publicly" discussed that its geting affected as well. Its a consequence to the influx of people, the once "untouched" nature is being inhabited & touched by humans so... of course. I remmber someone I snorkeld with back in the 80s who made a terrible mistake of stepping on one of those realy large flat intricate corral reef that looks like a spread of a "treetop" perched on a single delicate trunk & it broke! I FELT HORRIFIED AS I SAW IT HAPPEN!! I can attest to the damage that human presence can create & I feel so sorry. Ugh😔😑😢

Try to visit Marinduque Province the heart of the philippines.Marinduque is a heart-shaped island province in the Mimaropa region near island in mindoro. that nestles between Tayabas Bay and the Sibuyan Sea. It is situated at the heart of the Philippines and is considered the archipelago’s geographic center. During the Lenten season, the island gets a bit crowded for the annual Moriones Festival, one of the oldest religious festivals in the Philippines. So many beautiful beaches and sand bar. Tasty filipino food and century old churches and houses during spanish occupation.
