I just got the insanely perfect relic on toxic tunnels!!!! It was such an accomplishment. It felt amazing to see the gem appear at the end with zero deaths
Tip for anyone having trouble passing the bouncing crate on gem path: Keep the rythm/beat when the box hits the bottom with your voice and/or body. Very important to ACT it out, so you make the jump on pure instinct! Don't try to only follow the rythm in your mind. Keep the beat for a couple of bounces, as long as you need to feel that you feel exactly when the box hits the bottom, then just jump when it hits the bottom, eg when your beat hits. By doing so I didn't die a single time by that box while getting the perfect relic. Great video btw!
After an admittedly shameful large number of attempts and lives lost, finally got all the way through the gem section, only to then to mess it all up by forgetting to do a slide jump at the very end of the blue path and falling in the toxic waters, with the hidden gem in full view just out of reach mocking me as I plummeted to my death. There are no words to describe such a feeling, but pure, bleeding, mind-numbing agony and blinding rage come pretty close. 😫😭😫😭
Today that exact same thing happened to me right before I got that hidden gem that was sitting there and playing sight the car goes down in the toxic goo and I fall along with it just cuz I made a careless mistake in jumping. I eventually got it though and got to the end of the level. Now I just got to the very end and I hit the ! Box and I have 272 out of 273 boxes smdh
I've had so many of those moments on Shipping Error. Idk I think Toys for Bob is evil. Like did you have to make a platformer this pixel nuanced in split second timing and that technical all the way through? I need a breather!😅
@@antonwilhelmnow It was definitely a major challenge nearly the entire way through the game, but I don’t think I ever felt as accomplished as I did after I 100% completed the whole game vs any other game I have 100% completed. Though at the same time, I don’t think I’ve ever been as frustrated and angry while 100% completing a game either lol! It was all worth it though, especially because there were many times where I never thought I would be able to get to 100%. Toys for Bob is DEFINITELY an evil mastermind for creating this game! Somehow they made it hard enough for you to want to constantly rage quit, while also making it addicting enough that you keep coming back for more and willfully abusing yourself! 😂 If you’ve yet to 100% the game, keep trying and don’t give up, even when you’re ready to break your console in half or throw it across the room lol!
@@BhappyD Ah yes same! It feels so within your grasp. I haven't 100% yet, Im at about 70%, so many times I've slammed my fist into my thigh as if I'm stabbing myself. The worst is when you master a hard part then die on an easy part you've never died on before no matter how many times youve played through that easy section. It does seem possible. Yes very addicting I agree. Everything is within your reach and it's massively annoying. I think the fast pace nature of it keeps you engaged the whole time. When I first played N. Sanity Peak, I think I died like 80 times trying to get through that flashing platform section. That was the moment I knew this Crash game was the real deal. Now other levels that I thought were so difficult before I can breeze through with ease. The difficulty spike is insane. I understand making something challenging but it's just cruel with how many enemies and obstacles they plant around each corner. My other complaint is the bear and the jetboard controls suck compared to Crash 2.
What works for me on the bouncing block of the gem path is to just jump when the block is mid-height. Evens out to the same timing but easier to see the proper moment for me. Thanks for all your guides on this game!
How I did the yellow gem path jump block obstacle: 1. You jump on the higher swinging platform on the left 2. Wait until it aligns with the tiny gap on top of the metal crate, slide then jump to get through the gap 3. Break all boxes to the left, break that one box at the bottom of the TNT stack 4. And the moment it blows up - THIS is the only time the metal crate descends the slowest - just rush through it then do a short jump and you're out. This method works best for me since you only have to deal with the metal crate once at its weakest.
This guide was helpful I thought I’d knock this perfect out near the start since i thought I’d give me a very hard time but managed to get the perfect relic on my second try.

For the coloured gem path, I always struggled so much on the first slide jump at the green gem section, never knew I could just line my feet up with the second bar on the grate, helped out heaps!
Crash Landed is hands down the hardest level to get the nsanely perfect relic on, I’ve literally spent weeks worth of attempts on that level and can never get it

Hey, Wallie! Thanks very much for your feedback. I'm hopeful for a Crash 5, but maybe in a few years. I think with the advancement of gaming technology, games should be longer and room should be allowed for designers to express themselves more fully. The levels of the original 3 Crash games were relatively short, especially when compared to Crash 4, but some were very same-y. I mean we had like 3 Camelot levels in Crash 3 and they all felt basically the same. Crash 4 had a ton of unique levels, but some were incredibly, unnecessarily long. I really dug it overall, but I don't think my brain is ready to do a game like this again for a while hahah. Some of the boxes are just MEAN. The two near the bonus platform in the first wasteland level are just evil.

I really thought its not good idea to play this game on platinum trophy after i finished main story in 8 hours. This was the 38th and final perfect relic I got (also last level for inverted), the rest of the level isn’t too bad compared to the gem path (all things considered 😂). Thank god it’s finally done
Kept missing some boxes. Remember to go backwards at the beginning to get 4 boxes!! Finally done the annoying 4 gem route only to have boxes missing. .. damn you!
crash landed and toxic tunnels are about on par for hardness in my opinion toxic tunnels would be a much harder perfect relic i havent done cortex castle yet
No joke I actually forgot 4 crates towards the end but successfully managed to make it all the way back and all the way back to the end and got the box gem. Talk about lucky.
another thing you can do with the slide jump part is crawl under with R1 and then slide with the other button (O,B) You never need it so people forget you can do a slide while already crawling in this one
Does anyone else have issues with this game not registering boxes? I've played this level through about 5-6 times and I keep missing 8 boxes. Yet the only 2 boxes that I've discovered im missing are on the rail cart section in the gem area.. it's so frustrating

5:17...I cannot do that jump for the life of me...Thankfully you can slide between the opening so you only have to do it once...but maybe that's my problem?
Do my method, it's a lot easier: Here's an easy way to get past the bouncing metal crate. Stand next to the bouncing metal crate. Hold down on dpad then jump to the left, make sure to never let go of down on dpad throughout the whole process. This is so you are towards the screen as much as possible.
For the colour gem path they should have given us a "I feel sorry for you checkpoint" for FKING up this section especially when it's in 4 parts. In the trilogy we always got a lot of SORRY CHECKPOINTS so we could actually progress.
For the part in the yellow section where you have to go through the fast bouncing crate - don't. Jump over it all the first time to get to the other side, and then just spin jump back through and burn the mask. It's not that useful otherwise, and you'll get another before anything hard comes up again. Way easier that way and a lot less dead runs.
I did literally everything he did and somehow got 271/273. Wait now I realized my mistake. I missed the two boxes in the back while riding the train cars where the shield rats were.

I got all the flashback relics and had finally got all the boxes for toxic tunnels and then game corrupted! The save file was from the 12th of Jan which was BEFORE I completed it all 😭😭 coming back to your videos now 😂
Very true. I feel like I could never get out of the crouch animation before the platform started moving backwards, so I just opted to jump over them. But whatever you're more comfortable with!

@4:50 You can also land just in front of the TNT. Simply duck after landing and the lighting rod will miss you and you can than safely continue.
This level took me soooo long!! Almost 2 weeks to do it deathless!

You can just crawl under it to the edge and do a sliding double jump it's way easier

The red gem and yellow section is where I’m always dying on even though I don’t TOUCH THE ELECTRICITY

im getting killed from 11.35 onwards and dont know why
This level was worse than Cortex Castle
I got this last perfect relic yesterday now I have to get all the platinum relics I have 11 platinum relics so far
