      This right here is what it is. It's not racial, it's cultural. But, if you do deep research, it was all done by design in the 90's. Gangsta rap was pushed on purpose to the black community and the rappers like NWA was more than willing to participate to get rich, but the handlers are you know who.

    • @nicseay8309
      @nicseay8309 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It is deeper then "fatherless" families look at where they live Lok at the opportunities that they get. Having a fatherless family happens in the rich neighborhoods but they ain't invested wit gangs. They have money and places to go where they are accepted and wanted. When you from the hood even if you ain't a gang member you are what people think you are. It's not you are what you hang around. Cuz I hung around rich folks but people knew I wasnt rich just by looking at me. Open your minds a lil bit more and try putting yourself into these young men's shoes and try to understand where we come from. Like dude said it's cultural, it's economical, it's displacement. Have you ever noticed that once a area becomes a hood it stays that way they dnt come in to try and make it nicer the police dnt come thru handing out stickers. That shit just gets slummy and slummier. If you ain't got no food, no money what you gonna do bout it. It's all a set up to destroy the youth and the minorities cuz we are the future and some can't handle the come up so they do what they can to keep the come down

    There's a video on TH-cam by popo medic from back in the late '80s, where a group of Crips were harassing a homeowner and Neighbors in the neighborhood. The homeowner just happened to be a active duty Army Ranger, he put cameras on his house so he would know who was coming on his property. The Crips started hassling him about it, and made a threat toward his safety and his family. He decided to invite some friends over for a barbecue. Those friends happen to be members of his unit. The next time they tried something they got a message in return. 15 members of his unit off duty decided to set up watch over his house and the next time they tried to take a shot at his house he and his friends shot back. No one was killed but the message was sent. And this all ended up happening because the local cops in Tacoma would not respond to Neighborhood complaints. And when they finally did show up they got mad at him., saying why didn't you call us? His response we did you never showed up when we needed you to show up

      Cities in the South with more cops have worse murder rates and crime- Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, etc. The increase in crime was caused by what covid and quarantine did- worsen poverty, stress-levels, and alienate people from society. There's no correlation in crime between cities that are reforming the police and those that don't.

    Fun fact: that gun he reported as a "ghost gun" wasn't actually a ghost gun.. if you look close under the barrel you can see a long silver rectangle, that's a metal tag and on that is the serial number.. it could have been filed off but that doesn't make it a "ghost gun".. ghost guns are guns that are made specifically with no serial number so it has no chance of being traced.. the serial number is almost always on the receiver section of the gun not on the barrel or slide.. that section can be made by a 3D printer or other means at home or small machines shop in the garage etc.., made by an individual instead of a company and that's what is considered a ghost gun..

    • @alvinb.52

      I own that same frame, it *is* a 'ghost gun'..... that frame is made by Polymer80 and they ALL come with that metal plate under the barrel. The only difference is that plate comes blank with no serial number. It's only there just in case you ever decide to register your gun for resale or other reasons, you just have to apply for a serial number and then have it engraved on that metal plate. I'm extremely pro gun, even pro 'ghost gun'.... that's definitely a 'ghost gun'.

    We have the same problem in Glasgow city over in Scotland here, there's around 150 groups of between 25 to 100 people in each gang, ages from 10 to fully grown adults in their 50's and for many decades have been fighting in street to street warfare with each other especially over the weekends.
    The cops used a street gang crime fighting technique taught to them by police forces from LA and NYC to kerb it and managed to cut the crime by half in 15 years.
    But now it's back on the rise and what the OG is saying is fully correct, now it's basically over nothing, it's you're from here I'm from there, so and so (insert my cousin, my brother, uncle dad) killed this person 5/10/15/50 years ago so I'm gonna get you.
    Stupidity and extremely destructive.
    I seen my first murder when I was 16 one of my best friends he got knifed in the heart and died right there on the spot he was only 21 and it was over nothing.
    That was 2004 and since then 17 other friends and drinking buddies have been killed, mostly all knife crime.
    People in our positions of lower class/working class need to make communities that protect and live to help each other not create hate and divide, we also as cities with extreme gang culture need to refuse to carry that torch and kill it dead in its tracks within a generation or 2 then the kids can have the streets back and not fear being killed going to buy smokes from the shop.

      yeah im 19 in everett and ive seen a lot of shootings just by going to parties my old teacher was there for the marysville pilchuck shooting it seems like its getting more common that people have been exposed to it especially my generation its just the way its harder to make a living the right way because corrupt politicians and elites rob the working class. they union bust and put up the cost of college 1200% since 1980 while inflation has gone up 236%. it makes sense why people are turning to crime. if youve ever felt those hunger pains and inability to eat you understand too. unemployment is very low overall and people are trying. its just near impossible for some people to live with a regular job with no a degree. so a certain subset will always turn to crime. easy money. drugs, prostitution, credit card scams, stealing merchandise from a big company and selling it. then shit goes down between criminals and shots ring out. theyre not all doomed, but we shouldnt allow them to be out in the streets if they choose to act this way. but, until we fix the reasons ppl become criminals, mainly the poverty, we will be leading lambs to the slaughter. putting ppl in an environment that will cultive criminals out of a subset of them, then locking them up. its like the west side of baltimore. theyve been locking ppl up for decades and nothings changed. its no wonder why crime is going up. poverty is going up. there are no criminals in wealthy neighborhoods - they have no reason to do it. but ppl with no guidance and bad parents make one bad decision and theyre fucked and stuck at the bottom. nobody wants to think about orphans. nobody wants to think about kids getting beat and living in poverty. they just want to lock them up and call it a day

Try it, go to any of these people who are in gangs and offer them some sort of free programs to better themselves and you’ll see what I mean. They’ll just tell you to gtfo their face with all that.
