Ever thought the light up sabers were discontinued either cause the head is completely torn off from kids playing or the batteries are dead or corroded form sitting on your shelf for 20 years.
I’ve never realized how spoiled with Star Wars Lego sets I was, as a kid, because I had SOOOO MANY (if not, almost ALL) of the sets from 2000-2010. I know this, because now, at 27, I’m going through all my Lego to build some MOCs, and I’m finding so many pieces from these sets (especially the prequel films and clone wars sets).
Jeez, this video brought back a long gone memory. The first big lego set I ever got was that 2010 General Grevious starfighter. I remember sitting on the livingroom floor christmas morning building it while my family watched christmas movies and drank hot chocolate. Thanks man, I really appreciate the nostalgia
Instant sub for this awesome video! It must've been a hell lot of work to put together. But it was too much fun to watch! Thanks for this incredible effort!
Man I gotta say corporate alliance tank droid from 2013 and the obi wan jedi star fighter with hyperdrive are 2 of my most liked lego sets the builds are great and they're the good ways to get jango fett , especially tank droid set. I hope these sets get more love in the community.
31:05 - What the heck! Right when this part played I was looking in my cabinet and I was looking directly at a box of Macaroni & Cheese which is the same brand as your's (Kraft). What a coincidence.
The bad batch shuttle also had a barc speeder 🤔 Either you forgot, or you’d mention it later on in the vid 🤷♂️ (still watching while writing this comment)
I’m guessing that the lack of roof part in the 2023 Boba’s throne room is because the old ones kinda looked little bit like mosques and some people got offended by it.
Yeah, Hasbro was really dishin out those nice big vehicles around 2008-2012 timeframe. I have the AT-TE and Turbo tank. Wild that those were $100 back then but today Hasbro charges $100+ for a Starfighter.
My only guess as to why they abandoned the light up lightsaber minifigs was the lack of removable parts limited play and that the battery life was very short, apparently only a handful of hours.
So clearly 2007 was the best year lol. Also I reeaallyy don't like the scales down sets. My friend has the new Slave 1 and it's just over half the size of the previous two sets that I have. This was a fun video!
Amazing video I love it but you miss 4 sets the first one being the rogue shadow from the first force unleashed game and 3 sets from the old republic game
28:01 thats not true, you caj see one fly over Tatooine in the short clip they show in episode 6 after they blew up the 2nd Death Star during the galaxy's celebration
I wonder if they’ll get to the point where they’ll be on par with replica model kits (but be 20 times more expensive)? There must come a point of resolution where you can no longer tell its Lego (and therefore not worth buying as Lego).
That’s an interesting point you bring up! I definitely think there will be a point in the future where LEGO sets are “too perfect” and they can’t keep improving on remakes. Hopefully that time doesn’t come too soon though!
@@mjfeldy cheers mate. Thinking about it, making model kits and building Lego are two different experiences anyway. You don’t need to paint Lego, or fill and sand anything. So that dreaded day probably won’t happen. I do both and Lego is more fun. Building kits can actually make you angry sometimes haha. Great channel btw, I just found it.
@@StarWarsJay that’s very true! I never got into model building - just LEGO, but I can imagine model building is a lot more tedious lol. Thanks for the kind words man! Glad you enjoy the channel!
Am i the only one who thinks the imperial armoured marauder needs a remake there were to much studs sticking out or they could also make a minifigure scale troop transport cuz we are basicly stuck with only the battlepack version
As somebody who is an avid star destroyer collector, I am proud to say I have 3 of the UGS Lego Star Wars Venator-Class star destroyers, a homemade Fulminatrix, Finalizer, Executor, and Chimera (my personal favorite which is almost A YARD LONG, twice the size of my executor. ((I’m a thrawn fanboy. Sue me.)))
Somebody needs to explain to me why the gunship is loved. I do not get it. It might be my least favorite Star Wars ship. The MTT too. Also, the Venator is ok, but I have it as the 7th best UCS set.
I want LEGO to ditch star wars and go back to creating classic space sets or new space sets.. and none of all that NASA crap.. I hope the LEGO group didn't sign some shady under the table deal with disney not to make any competing space sets.. We are sick of all those american IPs dominating the LEGO toy sets and hobby.. with multiple remakes and re-releases.. God..
I know I haven’t uploaded in a while, but decided to combine parts 1-4 into one video - plus some bonus sets :)

I love the effort put into this video most TH-camrs would have not put the parts together like this. Good job.
Thank you! I appreciate it!

30 bucks for 2 ships is something that won't fly today your paying 30 for just one, and then 80 for 2
Didnt realise that amidala was $200?!?!? shes sat in my attic!!
I'm curious if sat in attic over time will temperature changes effect plastic and promote cracking?
The B1 Battle Droid never changed because you can't improve on perfection.

Two underrated sets for sure! I wish I got the Jedi starfighter with hyperdrive set when it came out - such a banger set
25:25 you just had to make that edit, didnt you? Goddangit you got me there lol, i laughed...
Bro your videos are always so fire 🔥
You’re definitely gonna have a 100k channel soon, keep it up!
That OG Star Destroyer looks like it has been sitting in a smokers house for several years.
Wow what a banger vid to make your return on! 🔥🔥
Thanks man🫡

It's exactly like the 501st one same build and same stickers just with black instead of blue

Hello there, this is where the fun begins, anyways i like your videos , makes me feel nostalgic.
Thank you so much!
19:46 Anakins custom Jedi star fighter is cannon. It was in the og clone wars from 2003.
The 2003 clone wars isn’t canon anymore tho😭
What do you mean?
@@nonameproductions39 when Disney took over Lucasfilm, they removed some things from canon including the 2003 clone wars
@@mjfeldy Disney is ruining Star Wars with bad movies, lgbtq+ stuff, and marking good stuff like the og clone wars non cannon.
i remember the 2014 phantom with ezra in it i loved that set when i was younger and i also remember loving the ezra minifig aswell
Wow, thanks for this video! Liked and subscribed. 😊

there's actually 4 escape pods if you count the microfighter version that pairs with the dewback build

Will you do evolution of Lego Star Wars minifigures (clones, certain characters, etc?)
👀👀

Forgot the Jedi Scout Fighter. Not sure if it was ever technically cannon but
I may have missed it but I didn't hear you mention the Slave One vs the (shudder) Boba Fett's Star Ship
It’s at 32:51
They did improve the b1 battle droid but not by much and by that I mean the only change they made was making a second arm variant thats turned
where did you get the anakin and obi wan pixel art by your camera! was that self built? if so do you have instructions
They should do the v wing from rogue squadron
Whats the name of the song at 19:20?
great video
Thank you!
@@mjfeldy your welcome
My favorite year for Lego Star Wars was 2018, surprisingly
Agree. The 2018 X-Wing and 20th Anniversary Slave I were the best renditions.
Which set is your favorite?
The Jango Fett’s Slave 1, 2006 Boba Fett’s Slave 1, 2013 Gunship, the UCS Slave 1 and the 2013 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid
It’s so hard to just pick one, but it’s gotta be either the UCS Millennium Falcon, UCS Venator, Bounty Hunter Pursuit, or Palpatine’s Arrest

Pretty sure the custom starfighter is canon, it's based on the old Clone Wars TV show

Damn i've spent a lot of quids back then
also all magazine gift and advents calendars.
a wing microfighter forget.
And now there’s a Darth Maul infiltrator made in 2024
OOH i have that one
Why doesn't Lego do light up sabers anymore??
The lights burn out
You can't swap any body parts but the legs.
You can change saber color.
