As an ex ITV Senior Cameraman I find it a trifle alarming that there is no mention of either cameras or cameramen! Without that element there would be no pictures to transmit!!!!
10 years from this post major broadcast operations have automated cameras with about 1 or 2 cameramen, cameramen are available only on locations like sporting events and as soon as they can figure out a way to make it cost effecting are going to be replaced... soooo how's the industry treating you?
No mention of what happens inside the scanner or a mobile VT truck... I'm disappointed. I built the things and I worked in them. Too much emphasis on the signal path.

Camera operators are the biggest Pre-Madonna's on the production, lol. The AC's do most of your work.
