I believe Dean Z would have been a better choice, at least he does tribute to the younger Elvis, he has the moves, style, plus he has a similar energy to Elvis during his shows.
Perhaps when the film goes into the older Elvis, there is definately a huge variety of tribute artist's who could have played the older Elvis, including Dean Z.
Just my opinion, I didn't go much on Austin's performance of Elvis at all.
But the world of young people of today, think he is the closest
thing to the real Elvis ever.
They don't know the real Elvis, or saw him perform, to know the difference.
