I am 74 years old and 45 seconds into that match is the most exciting moment of those years. I am not saying it is the most important, or memorable, but for sheer excitability, for a young boy to see his hero score a goal so soon into an FA cup final is heart bursting excitement.
@@alanmcdonald4423 Belated Happy Birthday. i just discovered J Milburn and here you are here already, back twice at the same video.. Can see how much this means to you.Salute to your sir!!
The great Jimmy Scoular who was a tough, no nonsense half back whose tenacious, robust tackles and his ability to break up the play of the opposition’s attack made him a legend at Newcastle. He looked as if he was hewn out of granite. A player who struck fear in the opposition when he took to the pitch. He should have won a lot more Scottish caps.

3:33 That's cool, I had no idea they were doing slo-mo replays back then. It looks awesome in black & white.

Great to see footage of the legendary Len White
Best uncapped Centre Forward ever.

I remember it well I believe Bert Trautman played with a brokrn neck
Funny I thought the toon played Black sure that was the match I watched.
Still not one Newcastle player alive to have won at Wembley playing for the underachievers even on this occasion won playing 10 men
Not another JSMB are you by any chance?
