To me the lyrics say that his girl has confidence and good looks, and literally knows how to use them to get whatever she wants. And he sings 'she's all mine', so clearly what she wants is him. @@davidsignor7931 They made a change to appeal to MTV which was just starting out.. It was stated in a documentary I recently seen of them.. Sharp Dressed Man & Pearl Necklace were fashioned in same manner
I love ZZ Top. Especially their very early stuff from the late 60’s and the 70’s. All three members are original and they have been playing together for over 50 years! And in my opinion, Billy Gibbons is one of the best guitarists from that era (and there were/are a lot!).
When their first record came out in 73, Tres Hombres, with the single La Grange I loved these guys. Later on they just became an MTV novelty as did many of the 70's acts that bowed to the pressure from the record companies. 80's videos may have been fun to watch but as the Bungles said they did kill the radio star.

All in as little as two three minutes some of them. I dig those videos from back then! Enjoyed your video!
❤️💜💚
Ok, I saw this video when it premiered (I feel old) and I never realized that it was about karma. Duh! Amazing analysis! Well done!
I don't know if you have a video of it but you should try "Tush", by ZZ Top, oh I almost forgot listen to Tube Snake Boogie from ZZ Top you will like that one
The three wise men from TEXAS!
Just an FYI: This, at the time, was "new school" ZZ Top. ha ha haaa Check out some of their stuff from the early to mid 70s.
Very true their music changed in the 80's but I think they were just keeping up with the time's keep in mind cell phones were unheard of
It's hard to believe that this song is thirty six years old. I lived in Texas back in the seventies and 'The Top's' early music was a lot 'bluesier'. They put out a lot of music for only three guys.
@@1pulpster but it was great music also

Not just three guys, Tres Hombres, three bad dudes. 😎😎😎
@@davidsignor7931 They made a change to appeal to MTV which was just starting out.. It was stated in a documentary I recently seen of them.. Sharp Dressed Man & Pearl Necklace were fashioned in same manner
Another Love Story from ZZTOP... 💕
Nothing Beats a Great Pair of LEGGs....🐣😘
"Groove Spirit Legends" holy shit that was funny
70"s and 80"s music rule, thx for the memories! Try some Bachman Turner Overdrive or The Guess Who. Love it!
Videos like this always disappoint me when I realize my volume is already 100%....LOL
Thank you!!! ZZ Top is my favorite band, “gimme all your loving” live is a great
Can't wait to see your reaction to Jesus just left Chicago. That's going to be epic
ZZ top .....pearl necklace.
Now you need to do "I'm Bad I'm Nation Wide" by ZZ Top.
These guys were excellent in concert ❤❤❤
This and Sharp Dressed Man are "Pop" Top. It was the 80's Mtv time. Their best music is from the 70's.
Deguelo for me is their best album. I liked some of their later stuff but I loved everything upto eliminator
Eliminator is 100% classic.
Love me some ZZ! They always put on a fun show and still are rockin' to this day!
ZZ Top "Sleeping Bag" and "Rough Boy" are also good.
Rough Boy has a cool video.
But no. That was when ZzTop died
I don't think I would agree with that ZZ Top came out with a lot of great music after MTV started they are a little ole band from Texas but have kept up with the time's very well I would go tomorrow to see a concert anyday of the week
Debut dropped in 70 not 73. 73 was when people started to took notice.

My uncle filled in for their drummer in Houston once. Love these Texas legends! Of course, I was around for these back in the day. Born in Corpus Christi, baby! 🙌🏻
Most underrated song from this album is "i need you tonight"
I love INXS cover.
Ya gotta love ZZ Top. So talented yet so humble. Effortless cool.
They're putting the schmucks in their place.
ZZ Top make the best Guardian Angel Spirit Guides ever.
I am 60 years old and I know all the songs. But you make my day. Thank you
I deserve some cred. It was I that was constantly bringing up ZZ.
Next "I'm Bad I'm Nationwide" Live Germany 80!!!
I have asked alot of times as well for ZZ Top who couldn't luv them....
3 guys, 3 chords! The best little band in Texas . Hot girls, hot cars the key to success
