Instead of the spring you can use shock Cord ( or elastic cord) just tie a six inch diameter loops. One for each anchor. Include in your rope close to the tarp. For a tent, tie the shock cords around the tents anchor points the secure to the rope from the buried stake.

I just brought some sand pegs for my hexa tarp. I’ve never used them before so was curious to see any pointers TH-cam always has someone showing something. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Guru, just one quick question. If we don’t have the spring just pegs, does this method strong enough to hold the strong winds? Thanks in advance.
