I’d like to see Demidov get loaned to a team like Sochi also and see just how many more points he’d get with more ice time and PP time! Put these Demidov/ Michkov comparisons to rest!

This is pure delusion. Yes, taking Demidov off a stacked SKA team and putting him on Sochi will somehow get him more points. What are we even talking about anymore?

these comparion things are stupid. because ska is so much better than sochi. michkov even played in second line. sure nice minutes. but second line mates in sochi are pretty terrible. demidov is gonna be nice player no doubt. better than michkov. i dont think so. but as a flyers fan i really wanted last summer that flyers could get demidov...montreal fans should be happy with this pick!!
Yes but Demidov is putting up points on a stacked team. Michkov put one of the worst teams in the KHL on his back and still scored his points. Totally different situation. Do your homework please

One of them play 12 min a game, the other played in a 20 min range each game......
Mitchkov was demoted off his Khl team.
Demidov also doesn't have a lot of PP time.
Basically none, 12min avg ice time, he isn't rewarded for his 8p in 10games

the copium from habs fans here is incredible with regards to the outright delusion that habs management took the right guy in Reinbacher instead of Michkov!! LMFAO. Michkov is the real deal folks, he's incredible dynamic and a better playmaker than i thought !
Yes he is very very talented but you have to remember that there was a lot of reason why the habs (and other teams) skipped him. 1: We did not know if michkov wanted to go to the nhl or not. Drafting a very good player who will never play isn’t a good plan is it? Yes now we KNOW that he is here but every proof went towards michkov not coming to North America. 2: michkov is apparently known to have a bad attitude overall, and the habs don’t like that kind of player. 3: you need a bit of everything to have a cup winning team. You need offense, defense and a goaltender. The habs now have everything (maybe could get 1 more forward) to have a brilliant future. We have very good forwards, a very good defense and 2 very very promising goaltenders (Fowler and Dobes). Having a team that is staked in offense but who doesn’t have a good defense will score goal, but won’t win a cup. So why wouldn’t they draft a defenseman in a draft filled with defensemen prospects

Did any of you watch his 4 point game to see if those points were flukey? Because he had an empty netter, something Michkov rarely had the opportunity to take advantage of, and both of his assists in that game were fluky passes (one of which was objectively a bad pass by Demidov that ended up working out).
I love Demidov, but points do not equal performance under all circumstances. We’re better than making these claims based on stats rather than the eye test, yall.

Michkov was playing on the PP, demidov isn't even on the pp. He literally played 7 minutes last game lol. Worth quite a lot lol

Honestly Kuznetsov isn't that good anymore, also worth noting that Demidov is doing that with next to no experience in the KHL,while Michkov had over 40 games of experience in the KHL before his D+1
