By using Scanning electron microscope (SEM) use image j software to find thickness of the powder. For film thickness a digital vernier caliper or a meter easily available.
delete this video...because it misleads the viewers...according to this video one can carry the band gap value desirably by changing the y-axis range..... The y-axis must start from zero because the energy at alpha*hv = 0 gives the badgap
You need to change the origin of Y axis at zero. Make sure you do right before sharing!
Very helpful. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
Excellent!
If the curves have a lot of linear part, how to know to choose linear part suitably? Thanks.
You don`t know ,how much do i owe you, FUCK! I am sooooo gratefullll!!!
Very hepful thank you so much!
For instence (Fist row value of Absorbance and absorption coefficient ), If we divide 1.33/(4*10^-6), it should be ~10^6 not as you calculated ~10^-7.
Put up the video vickers microhardness testing . How i calculated meyer index n value .
Y axis will start from 0
In my opinion α is ABS/0.4343/length of sample, due to ABS = log(Io/I) but we have I = Io*exp(-α*length) so ln(Io/I)= α*length. ABS is in log not ln
Nice vedeo
One question: if your film is 4 um, Thus the column C should be Col(b)/(4*10^-6) = Col(b)/4*1000000. But your function is Col(b)/4*0.000001
yes
If you x start from -500, what energy it gives you
from 10^-6 came?
how to find the thickness of the sample
How to know the thickness for a powder sample?
did you alredy know how?

Question: how you know for the thickness ? From data or what ?
Same question
@@3dartstudent973 from profilometer i think
You have to measure with instrument.
Vernier caliper or also meter available

From where we ll get know thickness of sample?
By using a meter to find thickness of the sample
app name pls
In UV we are using liquid samples so how can we take about the thickness.
You would use Beer's Lambert Law, replacing sample thickness with the light path length (d) through your sample.
Absorption coefficient
α=2.303 (A/d)
where
(A) is the absorbance
(d) is the sample thickness (cm).
Kak mau tanya untuk thickness ini emang ketentuan rumusnya atau bagaiamana ya?
Apa punya software OriginLab?
Apa boleh minta softwarenya kak?
Please explain verbally
