I want to note here that some of the items shown in the video such as point blank body armor cannot be listed on ebay. Please do your research prior to listing any military grade items on Ebay or any platform. www.ebay.com/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/military-items-policy?id=4342
@Carolina Castillo mercari, etsy, poshmark, whatnot (have to apply), amazon are all platforms that are available as well as Facebook Marketplace and groups.
When you go to start a pro Picker video and see it's 38 minutes, you grab the popcorn and enjoy. Thanks for the hard work to consistently have good content
So glad to hear you mention the time and effort it takes to list items. I can't get over the folks that know I sell on eBay think they can get rich quick doing it. Yeah right! Thanks for the videos. Renee
That was nice of u to give him more money being a vet my whole family is miltery vet My dad passed away last year he was a vet he passed away at 86 i miss him a lot😢😢Thanks for helping that vet His got some real nice stuff
Thank you for your service. I love that you keep things real on this channel. eBay fees, shipping, taxes, packaging, it all takes time and money. It’s not always sunshine and Daisies. It really is a job. It’s easy to tell that you really enjoy it and it makes watching your channel fun. Add in the fact that you a decent human being and don’t try to take advantage of people, even sending more money when you definitely didn’t have to, and it really warms my heart. Hope you get your dream house quickly. Good luck.
I love what you said about being a decent human being and having conversation skills. I've watched your channel and you certainly deserve what you are accomplishing, you will definitely get your dream home. You and Vincent's Valuables, Ready Set Resell are my favorites. You all Haggar, but you treat the seller's like you know some of them are trying to make a living too. Wish it would rub off on others. Google luck and wish you all the best
Great point about how much work goes into listing. (My least favorite part of the process) I'm retired from my "real life" career and do this "part time." BAHAHAHA! Part time reselling adds up to, IMO, working full time after adding up all of the hours that you mentioned. I've been doing this since the late '90's and have, in the last year, become very choosy as far as what I buy. If I'm not making, clear net profit, of $20 plus, per item, I pass. So far it's working out great....I'm just peppering in lower end items from my death heap to get rid of it all. ( Donating a lot back to the thrift stores from where I purchased a long time ago.) Thanks for the great content. Carry on!
Very glad things worked in your favor with the lawsuit & eBay restriction. Really felt the fear in that video. Happy for you & your wife, brother. Like u said, dont put all ur eggs in the eBay basket. You're too smart for that. Diversify & use eBay as a stepping stone to bigger things my friend. I appreciate you being genuine. Now.....let's get it!!!
We have such a short garage sale season in my neck of the woods, that any time we miss a weekend I wonder if I missed something good, so I'm glad you were able to get out, despite your injury.
Let’s brag 😊 I honestly dislike garage sales, I’m a real introvert, I don’t like the small talk. So I prefer the Goodwill bins. Today I picked up a Roper men’s 2XL pearl snap shirt, a woman’s leather biker jacket, a Wayne Gretzky casual jacket, a Dickie’s hooded lined flannel shirt, a kids wolf toque, a sloth stuffie from Wild Republic, a boho black velour and lace long skirt, a couple of unique women’s blouses, a leather bracelet, a Disney trivia game with figures, a Disney Monopoly game with mini figs, a pair of Silver jeans, a Toy Story Lego set, a Chomp long sleeved tshirt, some other T-shirts, nothing too crazy & some baby items for a family friend…spent $32, should make $300. Not bad for a 20 minute visit. Thanks for sharing your haul today, I always learn something from you. Would never even know to ask about military stuff.
Hi first time I caught one of your videos. I just wanted to say thank you so much for the breakdown of your business that you did at the end. It was a real eye-opener. A lot of work behind the scenes. Looking forward to catching some more of your videos .
I appreciate your honesty. In my experience sometimes things I think will sell right away take a long time and vice versa. When you’re. ReSeller on eBay nothing is guaranteed. That’s the risk of being self employed I guess. Great haul..super impressive!!
Thank you for taking the time to make and upload your videos, I love watching your videos at yard sales- and I really like how you put a screenshot of the comps in the corner of the items. Looking forward to more videos 🙂
I can concur with your little speech at the end of the video. Reselling is far from being a glamorous job. Like you said, there is a ton of time spent prepping items to list. The fun part if actually finding it. It's always the fun part. However, prepping, taking photos, listing and wording it correctly and highlighting the minute details of an item, shipping it, praying it actually GETS to your customer and in one piece, and finally praying they are satisfied with it and leaving a positive comment. There just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to do everything; especially if you are doing this solely with no help. I need to find a girlfriend that does this sort of thing as well so we can work together to make it happen. My sales are really slow right now. Even common items that sell fast, like a TI-84 Plus (which I find all the time) are taking over a week to sell, when they used to sell pretty much within 24 hours of listing them. So, yes, you are right: this is the time of year when it's great for buying (yard sales, estate sales, flea markets, thrift stores, etc). But, it isn't until Q4 that you really reap the benefits.
What a windfall of profit for you today. Good for you, you work hard for it. You did miss one bolo at the sale where you got the mixer and $10 golf club. There was a vintage Black & Decker under the counter toaster oven on the table. They sell for a good buck.
Boy i wish i had a day like that my last weekend was just sad...i did find two things but really wasnt much i actually dont like the town wide sales everyone and there grandma put out a bunch of junk just to feel involved you should do a video about the amount of items that dont sell, or show how long listing takes...or some other behind the scenes aspects to reselling the viewers who arent resellers dont know about or see much...could be good
I couldn't quite make out how big the chip was on the tree. But I recently bought some houses and one had a small chip and I bought faux snow on Amazon, and you just kind of dab it fills it right in. If it's really big prob. wouldnt work. It was amazing on the house I listed my house I pointed out where I had fixed it divulged it in the description area and it sold boom right away. Love your vids, I learn so much!!!
Funny I’ve had the same calf issue for about 2 months and been thinking of making the dreaded doctors appointment. Suddenly it’s gone hopefully yours does the same. Besides trouble walking arthritis in the hands is a real nitemare for us pickers. Your new name The Gentleman Picker
I'm halfway though the video! on a random note i broke my femur and then my tibia later on my right leg, i get the leg pain😅 ive been doing biking because it's low pressure and swimming. Best of luck with it
I couldn't believe that you were looking for computer games and how much they were going for I'm in England and they just don't sell l had over £1,000 of games and consols plus guitar and controllers l just couldn't sell it so I gave it all away to a charity shop it's so crazy, I'm glad you're doing great at selling the items you buy,, love your videos so interesting
For that fake pokemon sapphire you can always do an eBay search for tri wing screwdriver to open up any suspect cartridge of high value. For higher games I usually open the cart and take pics of the board that helps sell through.
Hi from the UK. New to your channel. Great finds. Just starting out with ebay in the past month or so. Got so much to list still as takes a lot longer to do than i thought it would but excited to see how it goes. Became disabled a few years ago so giving it a go. More as a hobby right now than an income just to see what bargains I can pick up. Learning lots watching others on ebay as to what to look out for. I have subscribed. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. 🙂
Awesome finds! I love finding beauty products for myself and to resell. I just sold some discontinued Victoria's Secret sprays for $60/each and discontinued Crabtree & Evelyn Raintree spray for $189. Just always have to check those expiration dates on beauty items, lotions and they all break down and not good soon after that expiration date. I'm still dealing with my deathpile from last year and my dad's belongings...so I haven't gone to garage sales for a year now...I will be ready to go again in the fall. Right now summer yard sales are few in Florida and brutal with heat. So easy to pass them up.
Yeah, I've heard this is the tail end of yard sale season down there. You're right on the discontinued healthy and beauty. I've had some pretty big hits in the past with it. Good luck getting through your deathpile.
Dustin if you were closer I would give you my knee scooter to use from when I broke my ankle !! Ps I liked the format. And I always liked how you give the real deal. All the cost.
So enjoyed watching your Garage Sale Adventures. You are such a nice guy. I just found you and will be watching your video's regularly. I sell on eBay too.
I was wondering how you ship the golf bags and you must have been reading my mind 'cause a minute later you showed us. Now I'm wondering how you pack the DVD players so parts aren't shaking around.
That's what I came here to say. Last couple of trees I sold were for 90 each. If it was a chil and not a crack, probably could still get 75. I also sold a large green base for 45. Don't skip those

Good for you for taking care of the seller.
I did enjoy this format. And I completely agree with what you said at the end. It is a lot of HARD work. Blood sweat and tears for sure! Lol
Right people hear “ make money shopping” and they don’t listen to what else has to be done.

Great video. It’s slow for selling for us this time of year too but it’s the time to buy to have enough for the winter.

Hi Denise! Glad you found the channel. Thanks for watching!
You're great! What a nice customer.
That clear gba game is boktai. Worth around $100-120 with that destroyed label
Love the vids. Can you do a bolo list. like 50 thrifting items. thanks
Short timer! Great video 📹
I was wondering how you ship the golf bags and you must have been reading my mind 'cause a minute later you showed us. Now I'm wondering how you pack the DVD players so parts aren't shaking around.
I’m not 100% sure but I think those Nike cleats at the 17min mark sell for $150+
Great pick ups ,the PS4 bits will do well !!
This one was great! 👍Take care of your calf!
This is pretty good finds,i'm surprised you didn't pick up books and a Superman comic book,i'm very surprised.
Yeah. . . That game with the damaged label is “Boktai” it’s a $130 game
Darn you missed out on the Bratz bedding, Monster High and American girl!
Looked like brand new American girl doll
Nice finds...wtg!
wow... a clean kitchen aid for 5 freaking bucks... i'd buy those all day at that price.. nice pick up.. easy sell..
those ceramic trees sell for good money even with chips. Even the base without a tree sells for more than you would think.
That's what I came here to say. Last couple of trees I sold were for 90 each. If it was a chil and not a crack, probably could still get 75. I also sold a large green base for 45. Don't skip those
This'll be a good one 😁😁👍
Its hard to not go to that one more sale lol. Even if you dont resale there seems to be a draw. Good video
*W@$$UP!!* They have this stuff at the Dollar Tree called "ARTIC ICE" it helped me with muscle pulls and cramps.
