That is amazing. If I’m gonna dream, I’ll dream up one more thing and add a window. I guess I’m pretty lucky, it’s me and the wife now in our little ranch-style on an acre. I get one of the two spare bedrooms.
Thanks for the kind words. I have been renovating this building since June. Is smaller than my old shack but it's nice to have everything of mine in one building by itself where I don't interfere with others and they don't interfere with me. :) I would love to see pictures of your shack.
Thanks so much! It's been a labor of love but it sure is paying off now. Storage is at a premium, but it's still very comfortable. Definitely going to add more shelving where the stove used to be as well as in the office. Basically every nook and cranny will be used in some fashion. I feel like I have 10 pounds of potatoes and only a 5 pound sack to put them in.
That is a lot like what I wish I could have. Only I would like some more work space. Great job because I will never be able to put together anything even close to that
Nice setup! New subscriber here. I saw you on the CaHR live. You said you were in east Texas. I live up in north Texas Hope to contact you on air sometime. 73 de KI5HXM
Thanks for the kind words. Sorry for the confusion though. I was saying I try to communicate with some friends in Northeast Texas on 10m. I actually live in Central Texas about an hour from Austin.
@@WhatsUpWithSix oh not a problem. I was aware of a 10m net when I was first licensed in 2020. I passed Tech & General in one sitting. They encouraged me to try for extra also. I missed by 2 questions. Some of antenna theory I hadn’t seen since the 70’s in class in college. Haha. All the best!
Currently I just have an End-Fed half wave cut for 40m. We have a lot of new activity happening here at Circle 6. One of our towers is being set soon. They dug the hole today
Does you mag light come with a wall wort. It does not seem like we hae a choice if they are made china. I am sick of the stupid wall warts that mess up plugging things in sockets. and draw engery when the lightt is turned off. It does not look like we have much choice. Anymore that stinks.
Looking great Vern. Love the shack can't wait to see it in person.
Thanks ol buddy! You need to get your butt to Texas and come take a look in person!
love the video, love how clean the place is, and I love the Rudy's cub in the sink. keep it up man
Thanks buddy! We still need to do our POTA run soon! Can't wait for you to come see this new shack and all that is happening here at Circle 6
What an amazing shack. Looks cozy.
Pretty cool. Its a great man cave setup.
Thanks so much. It's not done yet, but it's sure coming along. We started this renovation in June. Crazy long time.
That is one well equipped shack! Very nice 👌
Thank you so much. I sure enjoy it.

Looking good. Been working on the shack here in AZ. The TX station is functional.
I'm always watching gor critters, especially in Texas.
I hope you do a video.
@@WhatsUpWithSix i will. I have a few minor tour videos up.
What part of Texas are you in?

Dude! Sweet digs! Very happy for you!
Thanks a bunch!
That's an awesome space Vern!
Thanks so much
I see Gumby! Lookin' good, Vern.
Yup and he's on Pokey too. I have had the bigger Gumby since I was a child.
Nice job! That's a lot of work to get it to that point.
Thanks so much buddy. You need to come visit! We are long overdue
That's a heckuva setup, Vern!
Thanks buddy. Getting it ready for our little upcoming project..... F I N A L L Y !!!

Haha Top Banana Vern!! Mine is ALMOST as tidy.. Finally! Stay there and I'll show you :)
The problem (like most hams I suppose) is I have so much stuff and not enough space. It's like having 10 pounds of potatoes but only a 5 pound sack.
Great shack. Almost no need to go in the house.
Right. Except I do like to spend time with my smokin hot wife. LOL
@@WhatsUpWithSixLol that’s why I said almost.

Sweet Setup!
Thanks buddy.
Impressive
Thanks buddy.
Nice shack! I like the bug zappers when you get a big juicy June bug in there. 73
I do hope you have a good Alarm on that blinding and great 🔐 indoors and windows
Absolutely. And 24hr video surveillance as well. My guard dog sleeps in my shack as well. I don't think anyone would be stupid enough to break in. :)
I am not sure whether I should call this just a 'shack' or an amateur radio museum! 73 de VU2JO
