This has been, without doubt, my favourite vlog series. Talking total bollocks and dealing with serious mental health issues. You have covered it all. Well done Chris. Proud of you.
Had the same experience living in rural Spain as a kid, we would play out till 2-3AM on our own as 9-10 years olds and the local people would keep an eye on you, offer you food. Just like pure kindness, nothing bad ever happened there and everyone knew each other and looked out for each other. Wobblers.
You’re an absolute legend, I’ve just watched the tour back to back for a couple of days and you’re hilarious… keep the content coming… and hope everything sorts itself out in your personal life… nice to see people actually being real!!
Even if no one hears what is said, being that you said it gets it off your chest. Tree falls over in the woods does it make a sound kind of thing. Voice over, low level copyright free music in the background.
I have a lot of love for the people of Čačak, they helped me and my wife out on a Sunday of all days when we had broken down on the highway. The city you passed by in the previous video of Užice is also a beautiful city. My wife is from Belgrade so we've spent a lot of time travelling around Serbia and some of its stunning scenery, I understand your time was quite limited here but Serbia has just as much to offer as Bosnia. Same could be said for many of the Balkan countries, it's a beautiful part of the world largely overlooked by many of us over in this part of the world.
weird how you generalize. And to improve internets knowledge. Serbia is a shit country. The president took part in the genocide. THey are also russian-friendly these days.
I hope that you drove from Veliko Gradiste to Kladovo along Danube, and that you crossed into Romania via the Djerdap Hydroelectric Power Plant border crossing. This route is something exceptional. I really enjoy watching your videos!
Just found this...better late than never and a late new 'like' 😂 Glad your moods are better, love hearing about mental health issues as there's many of us out here share the same experiences. Bikes or something helps keeps us focused...works for me 🙂
The WEF have their sights on those simple-living people selling their apricots. It's those people that will be affected by the push to get rid of cash.
WEF has no power. It's a group of businessmen. Half the people who are meant to be part of it are announced to be members by the WEF without their permission and in some cases even their knowledge. Focus on your local politicians stealing your cash and not the big bad illuminati.
You're bang on about the state of the world. Good to see you're using your platform to spread knowledge 😉 I moved some printing machines out of Serbia a few years back and they are great people and very friendly .
Hey Chris, Very much enjoy your trip through your mental wellbeing & the Balkans as well ;-) Especially your journey through Bosnia Herzegovina was quite special and emotional to me. The last time I was there was in 1995. Yes, during those times you were talking about. I hear you ranting about that situation & the organisations and ... I mostly agree I'm afraid. However, most of the guys that were there to serve did that and sometimes more. We served under the UNPROFOR mandate, which stands for United Nations Protection Force. There was little to protect with the equipment and the rights we had. Fortunately I was part of a transport batallion so we we were indeed able to help a lot of people out during that winter. However the Dutch Infantry batallion (Dutchbat) in Sbrenica weren't that lucky, they had the duty to protect that enclave but were hardly equipped for it. All they could do was observe, monitor and inform the NATO about that dreadful situation so that intervention could be undertaken. Which Dutchbat did without receiving the air support they asked for. The leading generals decided against it because they didn't want to compromise the upcoming meetings with the battling Ethnicities, and therefore endangering the peace process which unfortunately lead to what we all know now... It's easy to judge from our armchairs but maybe fitting in this case, as those people were innocently killed, many soldiers that had to witness it died as well - if ' only' inside. Maybe not right at that moment, but on their return in their homecountry or years after, not aided by many 'backseat drivers' . This burden they will carry with them until the very end. Knowing that they wanted nothing more than to do their jobs but were unable to do so, as already mentioned. Anyway, just wanted you to know. Keep up the good work! P.s. I was enchanted to see 44teeth's latest video of Boothy on a bike, on the IOM. Now that's a TROOPER in my opinion
I love the series Chris, but the amount of wrong assumptions about Serbia (and Bosnia a bit) to me is hilarious, honestly. :D Not a criticism in any way, I completely understand where it's coming from, it's just entertaining to me personally. For instance, the price of the hotel in Cacak. To you it's quite cheap, but to average and even above average Serb it's a fucking nightmare! :D Love your discovery process on this journey, and I wish you had spent more time in our beautiful country! Cheers!
The insidious growth of traffic is well and truly out of control in the U.K., I live in Hampshire probably not far from you Chris the contrast is stark……I think we’re fcuked well and truly. Enjoyed this Vlog it was a good one ❤
Totally agree with you re the roads here in the UK. And, the road culture here has changed, too (for the worse). The feeling of relief I get when riding off the ferry/or tunnel train in France is immense… massive sense of freedom and calm. Unfortunately, I experience the opposite effect when I get off ferry/train on my return to the UK ☹️ Epping Forest
Definitely think the phrase D-bagging can be used for when you've "de-baggaged yourself from everything going on back at home". Really enjoyed this series in its entirety - thank you Chris!
Excellent video series. I really wish that I had used motorcycle therapy when I was younger instead of bottling things up. I would love to see the entire route on a map as I may use about 60% of it for a trip in 2024. Keep your spirits up and the rear tire down!
Yes I do think it’s a shame people can’t be proud of their beautiful women especially having gone through most of my young life admiring the beauty of grid/paddock girls
I grew up in a small town where all the neighbors and kids go out in the street and hang out. its pure bliss and I miss those days more than ever these days. I feel like so many parts of society has gone to complete shit.
Yep as s child in the 70s I could just walk into a neighbours house and get a glass of water!!! I’m from the Rhondda and back then everyone’s front door was wide open.
It sure does seem the opposite as far as way of life compared to a metroplolis or somewhere like you descibed London where its all consumerism times a million and stuff. There it just looks like what it could be like if people were more self sufficient and stuff living off the land and things. Great video BVG. I was talking to my Dad about wanting to visit there and was told that its dangerous there still, I was like yeah but I ride a motorcycle and thats "dangerous" so lol.
Chris, post the romanian stuff anyway!!!! Would be great to hear commentary now that youve had space from the trip. You are such an inspiration for people that suffer with anxiety and depression! More wobblers please.
Wobblers!! Another great episode. What a brilliant trip you're having. Interested to see if you push on to Turkey, then who knows where :) Stay in that happy place. Cheers.
You're a silly man and I enjoy your content. 5:30am here and depending on how the weather looks I may go for quite a long day's ride on the k63 single-R, but won't be nearly as rewarding/varied as what you're experiencing in your series here. Not sure what I'm trying to say here so time to summarize: Great content, thanks and I need to have a long think from the saddle, so to speak. -- Hope you continue to have a good ride.
This really struck a cord with me. I work abroad a lot and i have noticed the exact same thing when it comes to people/familes eating out, drinking in restaurant's etc through the week. Ive noticed it all over mainland Europe, but mainly Eastern. Places like Hungary, Bulgaria and Czech. I think its brilliant. Meanwhile back in my lovely home town of Bolton, you'll be lucky if you see someone who isnt a tramp or a crackhead past 6pm in the town centre. We could definitely learn a lot from the Eastern Europeans.
The Srebrenica Genocide was the killing of over 8,000 Bosniak men and boys by Bosnian Serbs. The UN did indeed fail to protect the Bosniaks, in the sense that the massively outnumbered and lightly armed Dutch UN peacekeepers were unable to defend the safe zone from a premeditated attack by an overwhelming Serb force, which became the worst incident of ethnic cleansing since World War II. NATO, led by the US, eventually enforced peace and brought the war to an end. Many people were subsequently brought to trial for war crimes, including Slobodan Milošević, the Serbian President, also known as ‘The Butcher of the Balkans’. This was a brutal, complex conflict, which even now is poorly understood, as your commentary shows.
Love the series, very entertaining. Nice to see that you enjoy the ex-Yugoslavian countries and seem to understand our way and perspective of life. Greetings from a Serb. P.S. Čačak is pronunced [cha-chak], ch like chicken...just for your information :) and yes we really did get f*cked by NATO in '99 without the UN's approval
Totally with you on communial crop growing. I want to change my back garden into a vegetable patch but *SHE* says otherwise. I could grow enough veg to do me most of the year around. On the "I want me, and everyone else to project the fetishes I like" thing... Why?

My Yamaha XT broke down in Cacak, I left it in a first house with a totally unknown family to rest, went on a moto gathering as a pillion on my mate`s bike and returned in two days, got fed, greeted as a family member. Yes, Serbs and Serbia in general is a strange jewel where people of many nations still value tradition. Kids are walking alone at midnight after parties in the city, Universities are full, smiles on faces still exist, Hey we`ve been a playground for some big players for centuries, a dozen Roman emperors were born here, we endured, been on allied side always, made some mistakes ourselves, been naive or stupid. Survived under Turks for almost 500 years. As someone who travelled around the world and a US student, I guarantee that Serbia demands at least 30 days, Then you can change perspective on many life issues, and requestion. Not necessarily accept. So many crazy intimate unusual places to see, people to meet, history to discover, and heal and enrich a soul. Great video mate. Greetings from a biker.
Jizzy jizzy bang bang... great to see ur double decker azz back to steer us through the fog... grab that s1000xr for a lands end to John O'groats epic...
I follow walterrific motovlog on youtube and there I heard about you.. so i came here.. I'm really glad that you been here in Serbia and have a good thought about my country because ( in short) nato and europe hate us (i dunno why) of course, maybe because we have šljivovica and we do not love gay parade in our country (because on that way we give a children a bad exsample) and everyone hates us but i'm glad that you like us.. we have bad roads and economy but we respect each other and people from other country, like you said it doesn't matter witch day is it, from monday from sunday, family guys with children go out all day and just walk, drink, eat, buy stuff and that is something special, it's everything we got.. one more time we Respect everyone and You also Baron, nice that you been here, i'm from Jagodina and maybe in next tour come in my city, we have aqua park, zoo park ,shopping mall( Big) and fine restaurants to eat really good for less money... Thanks for all who love Serbian way of life, Love from SERBIA 🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸😎🌹❤️
Hope youre still in Brasov. Look out for the 'Hollywood' sign on thew mountain overlooking the town! Happy to send you a link for the cute little B&B, now, King Charles stayed at it Sighisoara up the way if you like?
About "the Golfs" Golf MK1 and MK2 were produced in "TAS Sarajevo", that's why there it's so many off them. In time of Yugoslavia you could only buy "home brew product's" "imbargo on western products... cold war) So it was either Golf or Opel Kadett (waiting time for any of thees 12-24m) Zastava/Yugo or something from Komunist east block friends (Lada, Warburg, Moskvic, ...) you could get prompt or in 1mounth
The UN has a lot to answer for not least in Sarajevo. The Dutch “peace keepers” especially came in for massive criticism yet I doubt faces justice. A shocking time in, let’s face it, modern history.
I would pronounce it „tschadschak“. But who am I to know. Btw, I am new on the channel, would appreciate a short video where you summarize the last couple years of your YT historie. Just curious.
Mate, what you could do with the screwed audio is just use that footage, but do a "live" voice over. This way you can still use the footage and give us a kind of "behind the scene" experience.
This has been, without doubt, my favourite vlog series. Talking total bollocks and dealing with serious mental health issues. You have covered it all. Well done Chris. Proud of you.

It’s weird how the rest of Europe is scared of the Balkans and yet they are the safest countries. I felt in danger walking through Paris and London.
I’ve travelled there a bit, it’s just political control….no different to many places controlling their inhabitants.
You got through London without getting stabbed or mugged 👀
weird how you generalize. And to improve internets knowledge. Serbia is a shit country. The president took part in the genocide. THey are also russian-friendly these days.
And I'm sure there's places in Serbia that also make you feel this way lmao.
@@fokke_sander and you would be wrong.

Wobblers. LOVE THE CONTENT. The fact you speak your mind and are open to views that aren't mainstream/allowed/so widely known is beyond refreshing.
You're bang on about the state of the world. Good to see you're using your platform to spread knowledge 😉 I moved some printing machines out of Serbia a few years back and they are great people and very friendly .

I wonder if the Baron will respond as he seems too young to remember and will never have to be in the position you were in.
Thanks for the episode mate. These feel almost healing to some degree 👏🤜

Good vlog! Way to say what most of us are thinking.
Well, i am watching your video from Novorossiysk, Russia. You can wave me with your hand from Constanta as you get to Black Sea =)))
Loved this. The part about the boobs had my big boobed woman laughing...looks like you've got a new fan. Proper vintage Barron👏

A release of a compilation of the best bits with the messed up audio and a rough commentary over the top would be just fine

Thanks for the educational entertainment. A bit of history and economic class, also some down to earth human principals to live by talk.
BVG is wide awake, and know the score. Nice one Baron.
I love when you put new vlogs up

Lived in Belgrade five years, friendliest people I've met, great people. Definitely strong on family values and friendship.
Yeah. They love russia, hard laws against gays, slaughtered muslims. Yeah. Lovely people them serbs....
Thank you Chris. :)
The Baron is back, classic ranting about the stupidity of life! It shows you felt better, just let it out Chris!
Quality vlogage as usual Baron
I blame you....I've found I've become addicted to an Orange Lucozade and a Double-Decker when I'm at the shops

Do a voice over, it'll be cool for sure!
Bloody good idea that 👍✌️

Wow, an old school Baron rant. That’s a new classic right there.
Hurray For Boobies album by the Bloodhound Gang, anyone?
When he started talking about Carrott economics I knew this was going to be a good one #AllHailTheBoobies
Sorry we missed the bears, but this is still great. Keep it going!
Inspired Chris, just ordered Sindy and Barbie off the Internet. Need to add Anusol to cart👍
Where can I find that windscreen add-on?
And is it universal for other types of bikes?
These are great videos, shame about the audio, but everything’s been great up to now. Really enjoying this series.
The width across the bars, from the outer end of the bar and edge of hand guard, is 1m exactly.. exactly the same as the width across the panniers.
"They're gonna be fine... They all drive Mk2 Golfs..." Lmao I fell off my chair
Your bike is not ticking anymore lol😂😂❤
It wasn’t the bike ticking it was Chris’s ball’s knocking thinking about big boobies🤣
If you like Serbia, you're going to love Sochi... Now THAT would be an adventure!
Totally with you on communial crop growing.
I want to change my back garden into a vegetable patch but *SHE* says otherwise.
I could grow enough veg to do me most of the year around.
On the "I want me, and everyone else to project the fetishes I like" thing...
Why?
Thankfully the BTCC still has grid girls
as does MotoGp and loads of other series....not sure what he's on about frankly.
Loving the commentary , started off well when you couldn’t open the net curtain 🤣👍
Driven to Yugoslavia many times and your right they drive like they have stolen it. Saw a number of bad accidents though stay safe bud.
Superb!
£59 carrots and baby dolls heads up the arse, there's definitely a job in Whitehall when you return.... btw the BMW sounds real good ✌
A little update about Čačak.This was few miles from there en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Halyard
Any chance you wanna share your route, Chris? I might want to wander in your foodsteps in the next few years.
I think Chris just went day by day and put in a destination everyday with the no highways option on. To be honest the beauty of a trip like this is not knowing where you will be the next day and what roads you will take, it's pure freedom.
love you Christopher
I think you should have Fagan as your umbrella girl. You would be so brave.. LOL
Big bloody Wobblers, hell yeah man
best series on yt
Economics 101, who knew, cheers Chris....haha
Get a Zoom F2 field recorder, GoPro are terrible for audio reliability... Great series, I'm really enjoying your trip 😂
Zoom recorders are brilliant. Particularly the ones with 24-bit float.
