Awesome video and very helpful. I'm walking down this path...starting with IBCs and eventually upgrading.

Lief, Thanks so much for this video. As an amateur, but hopefully soon to be commercial cider maker, with a shoestring budget, I found this to be incredibly helpful. If you ever make a follow up video, could you please talk about initial cleaning and sterilization of the IBC's as well as how you would store them, after a fermentation, but before beginning another fermentation inside the same vessel. Thanks. Wishing you the best in 2019!

This is great stuff and as far as I can tell no one else is doing it. You need to do more of these!!

I am the letter "R" who asks about the bubbler. Thanks for answering that question for me. I came across this video using Google. I didn't know I would be featured. I know it's silly, but that kinda made my day. BTW, I staretd my first commercial fermentation this week. In a tote.

Hi, thank you so much for this video. How are your experiences with washing and sanitzing ibc containers? Is it a pain in the ass to reach everything?

Do the speidel rubber stoppers fit a 2 inch NPT or do you have to reduce it to make it fit?
    Cheers

approximately how many bushels needed to fill a 300 gal IBC full of juice?

Depends on the apples and press process but I would say between 150 and 200 bushels
