Really great 4 step process of penciling, light line inking, blocking in the shadows, and then half tones, and refinement.
This was phenomenal to watch David the shadow wrapping around the muscle although you say it’s simple looks extraordinary you truly are a wizard! Epic
I love how you can see all the techniques that he taught coming together. There is no commentary, so you can observe his fantastic work.
Had to pay you a compliment Dave. I loved the style of feet you chose to give venom. I think more of a rough spontaneous type of character when picturing venom rather than someone as neat as Spider-Man. Your venom feet make a lot of sense.
You also show me how highly rendered comics can be teaching me so much, though I’m aiming more towards concept art and illustration. You have opened my eyes to the world of comics
I still remember when you drew Spiderman’s webs and the small details on Venom!!!

The shapes of some shades may be inaccurate as well as some anatomy but I love the guys attitude to the detail. This is an amazing piece of work!

On Spiderman it almost looks like the latex suit is one with his skin. You can see the veins and muscles in his neck unusually clearly.
