Yay! A new washer and dryer. It's so hard to be without that. You probably already know this (I just learned it a few months ago after about 25 years), the door on your dryer can be flipped the other way so it opens towards your washing machine. Makes it much easier to transfer the clothes. I was able to change it myself after realizing it was possible - so you won't have to add to your honey-do list. 😀
I did not know that. Thanks for the tip. I am grateful mine opens the right way for my laundry room setup.
I just love folding clothes! I was soooo happy to see you doing your laundry at home . Pork steak are a big thing in St. Louis. My aunts used to barbecue them, make a green salad and the tuned pasta had spaghetti sauce . I just loved going to seemy relatives in St. Louis ! Happy Thanksgiving to you and all of yours !

I recently had to get a new dryer and I had heard that so I didn't worry about checking it out but wouldn't you know it...the door to the dryer I had picked out was delivered and it's door couldn't be changed. I was so disappointed because I was counting on that to make it easier for me. But, it's okay. After being without one for over a week I was happy just to have a machine.

So glad you got the new washer and dryer timely! What a nice Christmas gift to yourself. Just a thought, the tree would be nice in the front window. Maybe move the fur babies to the side wall and the chest and tree there. Whatever way you chose it will look lovely! You always have great ideas on how to decorate. Thanks for sharing with us!!
Oh I agree. The tree would looks nice in front of the window but we're supposed to be getting a pellet stove very soon and it's going to sit in front of the window. Thanks for watching.😊

T here, as I type this I'm laughing and crying at the same time, we lost our (almost 17 years old) Yorkie yesterday and it has been terrible for my family!!! Love that precious willow and maxi boy for me plz. Love love your videos!!!

Your quilt and shames looks so pretty on the back of your couch. So glad you got your washer and dryer, I use to have to go to the laundry mat also, when I got a washer and dryer I could not believe how much more time to do other things in the house I had.

So so nice to have a washer and dryer. We had several front loaders top. I do not care for them, we went back to top loaders and I love them.
Such a hard working Mom. How did you have time to spend at the laundromat. A washer and dryer is a blessing. So happy you got them, makes life a little easier with 3 growing boys.
Oh I’m so happy for you happy day on the washer dryer 🎉🎉🎉 a little hint that I do to get clothes out of washer is what I call a grabber and I just keep it hanging in laundry. You can get it on Amazon I search the limited mobility section. Or you could get a long set of BBQ tongs hope that helps.

If you save your lint it is a good fire starter for our side firestarter . I love your trailer and how you all love each other as a family.
Funny you mention fire starters. We've made homemade fire starters in the past with lint, paraffin wax & sawdust. We definitely need to make more.

Until this year, we always had honey baked ham and Turkey and I made all the normal sides of potatoes, rolls, salad, green beans, broccoli casserole, sweet potatoes, olives, pumpkin pie, and don’t forget stuffing.
Maytag is the best, in my opinion! My washer and dryer are 27 years and will probably last twice that long! I love that Willow Berry, she's a little cutie pie!

Hey Valerie I am the one that told you about Pine Sol, I am so glad you checked I was watching you put it on the counter top where Ya'll eat and I was telling the TV...NO don't do it lol ...I am so happy for you that you got a new washer and dryer , dragging all those clothes to the laundry matt was crazy!! Your living room looks so good now , so open and airy! I love to watch you cook I grew up in Va beach Va and my momma was born and raised in South Carolina so she cooked like you do ...I miss her and her good cooking so much!! she use to bread our pork chops like you did the steaks and omg they were the best pork chops ever! and she woud make potato cakes with them and fried apples ..YUM I am in Michigan now and the southern cooking is not a thing here :( I hope you guys have a wonderful holiday and Willow was so cute , she is not intimidated by Max or his size one bit!! I enjoy your channel so much I am so gald YT suggested you a few months back, I do not miss a episode. I am gonna make a suggestion because I know how southern mommas are, Teach your older boys to do the laundry before they leave the house or they will be coming home to have momma do it lol ...(which isn't always a bad thing) But there is 3 of them and only one of you . Girl, the sight of that washer and dry brings a tear to my eye! I'm almost as happy as you were I'm sure. I agree, I'll never be without a set again.
Once a year I wash my comforters and canvas totes (like the L.L.Bean kind) in the big machines at the Laundromat and it reminds me to be soooooo grateful that I have my own set at home.🙌🏻🥲

Valerie , I love watching your videos. I could watch you everyday and love the music and editing.. I wanted to tell you I make homemade whip topping all the time with my stand mixer , just keep mixing until stiff peaks and I don’t put the sugar in till it’s finished mixing also . I’m definitely gonna make those cabbage rolls ! You starve me to death when I watch you cook .
Oh, good to know about the sugar. I was so scared I was gonna overmix it. 🤪

I keep a blanket on back of my couch too.but I keep one on the part where we sit too.a twin sheet works or a big throw blanket .

Once a week ----- another suggestion --- from Camille in Baltimore county, Maryland.😇🙏😊😄. Use all paper plates with paper cups.! You do so much! 🙏🙏🙏
I have started buying paper plates.Even though it feels like we're just throwing away money, it really makes cleanup super easy. 😊
It would be a neat family evening to string popcorn for the little tree.

I complain about having to go to the basement to do our laundry but not as bad as when the washer is broke down and I have to go to the laundry mat. lol
Suggestion… I’d get Tim to put a shelf over the washer and dryer where you sign is for just the main laundry supplies. It looks like it would be easier. Where mine is in the dungeon I don’t do anything cute lol

Valerie nice washer and dryer. I know how you feel having going to the laundromat. I now have a washer and dryer that works. I so enjoy your vlogs. I am thinking about getting a dog. I live alone and am retired. My guy past away in 2020 and your Yorkie makes me smile. I had a Yorkie 5 years ago, (Little One). She past away she was 13yrs old. Please keep up the vlogs, they make my day. Take care.

I’m happy you finally got your washer and dryer. My dryer quit working for the 3rd time in the past year. For now I’m washing clothes and hanging them all over the house to dry 😂 they are so cute when they play ❤

My front loader never smelled but I wipe the door seal out every time and left the door open slightly when not in use.
I learned this because my mother in laws always smelled like mildew. Hers was replaced after a recall.
All the being said, we also went with a top loader without one iota of regret!!! Good move!
I almost fell in my washer. They are too deep. I’m so happy for you to have them. I love those sheets.

They have the wire expandable shelves you could put in there and those you can take with when you leave.....they work great in food storage areas and in bathroom cabinets. For under sink storage.
We just got a new washer/dryer last week. We also went back to a top loader. It’s nice not having to leave the door open all the time because of mold issues.

I am amazed at how much you have changed the mobile home. It would of been easy to get discouraged once you saw the rough condition it was in when you got there. You guys have done a lot to make it a comfortable home. Looking forward to seeing the new counter tops installed. I was wondering how the boys feel about moving in the Spring? Switch to vinegar and essential oil. You’ll not have to buy any other cleaners and your cupboards will be empty and chemical free! And Penniesto use. Lemon oil for furniture is chemical free and smells delicious.. same for laundry soap they are All chemicals Peppermint oil is so nice for Christmas. Love your new Maytags, the best imo.
Hello beautiful lady glad to see you back I enjoy your videos on cleaning cooking so much but one thing I would like for you to do for me is to wash your meat before you cook it don't just take it out the paper season it and cook it wash it paper towel dry it if you have to but please wash it but anyway that's my opinion but until next time be blessed

If the washer and dryer could be moved to allow a gap between them you could get collapsible laundry baskets that tuck into the slot. My daughter in law has done this. Mine are too close together to do. I just avoid laundry baskets. I fold and put away repeatedly using the steps as my exercise. Efficiency isn’t the goal..movement is😁

O grate on the new washer w d dryer. I need new ones too. I was wondering why u use both fabric softener AND a dryer sheet. I heard or read somewhere that dryer sheets make some I d of film build up in ur dryer so lint and and will stick to motor parts inside the dryer causing a fire hazard. I stopped using them when I saw this. They do make good use in washer on rinse cycle.
