I think you have given me invaluable explanations for growing my roses. I am very very Thankful! i never mulched now I understand why I lost many perennials over the years.
I am too far south to have to do this most years. This is still good information that I can adapt for the milder climate where I live in North Carolina.
Thank you so much for providing the detailed explanations and the demonstration. I’ll definitely try these two methods of winter protection. (@ zone 6a)
thanks from a first time roser
Thank you for this! For someone living in Finland, this was very useful.
Although I’m in Zone 9B and I don’t have to do this, I enjoyed your detailed information. Happy Gardening.

Like the idea I have the plastice white sheet I'll much and leaves around the roresmarry to protect than for winter
Should this be done also to drift roses? I have 2 drift and 2 hybrid teas just want to make sure....zone 6B 😊

Please include link to the plastic cylinder
What collar brand are you using. Most I found are small
where do I find the plastic cylinder? thank you
Does the rose get affected due to lack of sun?
They're not really photosynthesizing in the winter anyway, so it's worth blocking the sun to keep them warm if you're in a colder climate
