@@Bowmans-Woods We were on the Saona 47 2 years ago. The 47 you toured was different but I can't tell you the details. My son and I both felt the 42 at that time was ca better boat than he Saona 47.
La Rochelle is our and FP's home port. There are always 3-4 sometimes more FP's being commissioned. I wonder if there is a big saving for North American customers to take possession in the home port.
You guys almost did the whole FP line but for some reason you skipped over the most popular, best selling Elba 45. I wish you did... Thank you and all the best on your pursuit!
I wonder why FP does not have a bunk bed option for the forward guest cabin? Would work well with kids, families, friends etc. Seams like most larger monohulls do this but no cats…
48 hours to fill batteries from sailing using regen. That is a long time. I see regen being the biggest part of electric motors. I notice the shaft drive electric motors having better regen. I would never want a sail drive. I hope they offer shaft drive also with bigger motors for better regen.
I said you could. I just said for us I wouldn't want to cross oceans on just a 42' waterline. Personal choice for speed and comfort. No need to be snarky
I’m impresses. Nice
It was impressive
Thank you for going over the price.
Glad to help. Gives you a ballpark price anyway.
Thanks for the tours, really enjoying your content. I Like the 42 it seems like a really capable cruiser.
Thanks for watching!
When I toured the FP boats in '21 the 42 was my favorite also. I was disappointed in the 47' myself.
What disappointed you about the 47'?

Im sure there is a fee for delivery to the US so, yes, picking it up in France would save you that fee.

Ya. Shaft drive with larger motors would be good.
mother-in-law cabin hahahaha
That was funny. Hope his Mother n-law doesn't see this.
If you can't full-time livaboard this, then just hang it up because you are just not built for it..
