Great interview! Ricky was my high school classmate and he hasn’t changed. Still funny and charismatic. Proud of him and his accomplishments so far and looking forward to even more. Sic Luceat Lux!

Another brilliant interview from teach dem. Rik Rok is so down to earth and unassuming, and has a great sense of humour. He's ver much underrated. Very articulate as well. Wonderful interview!!🎉🎉
Nuff Respect Teach Dem. I was around Ricky during his Taylor Hall days, but I never knew he was British. Remember him rehearsing BabyFace songs for Countdown. Wooed all di girls dem.during his performance. GREAT interview, and I learned a lot. FYI, I was a chemistry major too, so I can understand.
Teachdem, this was one of your best. Rik Rok, you are one of the most prolific writers (who knew). So humble. Loved this. Congratulations, Teachdem, I love your content.
Teach Dem thanks for the work that you are doing . You have introduced most of us to persons that we have listened to in songs and other areas of entertainment that we would never have heard about. Thanks to bro Rick Rock for being so forthright in sharing his story thus far

Nuff!!!!!! girls use to crazy after rik rok I remember early 2000 era and then he just dissappeared off the music scene. Bad Singer who had an RNB voice on dancehall/reggae riddims. Big up rik rok 💯🌍
I didn't know I would enjoy this video as much as I would. It's baffling how much Jamaicans were influential in music from all genres and what's more astonishing they were there in the trenches from the get go with all the big names in the music I industry abroad. Out of all ur interviews ric tok is the closest to getting rewarded and compensated for all of his hard work. It's funny how one of the biggest commercial reggae songs ever got so much fight and the hurdles it had to scale to buss inna all plcs.. Hawaii!! Great interview again teach.
I subscribed to your channel for years now but never completely watched an interview but, I had to watch Rick Rok!! Saw Rik Rok and Shaggy in Negril at Samsara Hotel in the about 2002… Epic performance… my first live concert… Even though I played music growing up I never heard of him until I listened to “It wasn’t me “ incredible song. Played it dozens of times. Love this interview!!! I write songs as well but secretly. You have inspired me Rik Rok!!! Mmm!!! Let’s see to what extent this interview impact my writing skills. Bless up Rik Rok!!! Very happy moment. I lagged a lot … bless up Shaggy!!! He means the business well. Looking forward to a gospel album from shaggy one day. God has blessed you guys well. I am sure he will influence the change I am praying for. Blessings friends.
