    Wow...! This is one of the most organized and helpful planning videos that I have come across. Love the permanent resource book and took a ton of screen shots to help me start mine. Found lots of new ideas around family and finance topic planning that I haven't come across before in my new addiction to Hobonichi planning videos. Love your maturity, style, and confidence. Thank you for inspiring me. :-)

    I don't commit much but this video deserves like 20 stars it has helped me organize the ideas that are floating in my head. I now know what to do with those ideas and how to organize them in a fashion that will make sense not just right now but in the future as well. Best planner video ever.

    I’ve been looking at comprehensive analogue planning systems after decades of having everything dispersed over multiple electronic and handwritten locations. I like some elements of the Bullet Journal’s flexibility which I aim to adapt to a Hobonichi Cousin in 2021, but I couldn’t see how it would work to integrate longer term collections among daily posts in a journal that is active for maybe as little as a few months. Many thanks to you and your contributors who have confirmed this as a real issue. Given the need to carry two books in the planner, the 6 month Avec seems the better Hobonichi choice.

    I am learning (at 50!) so much from you! I love how you just do you. You're not concerned with all the fuss of planning if that doesn't work with what you NEED. I love "commonplace planning"! That struck a chord! I am brand new to the Hobonichi world after trying all the things before. I was stunted when it first arrived, cause I didn't want to "mess it up." Your plan with me videos have helped me to start... I really appreciate you taking the time to share your style with the world. I am very VERY interested in your batch cooking system. I should be better at dinners, etc, but I'm not. Please consider sharing your process with that. Thanks again!

    • @ArchitectDestiny
      @ArchitectDestiny 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm thrilled that you find inspiration from my videos! Thanks so much! My batch cooking process is really simple. I cook on Sundays and Wednesdays. I typically cook two meats (or a meat and a casserole that contains meat), a starch (in large quantity - rice, potatoes, mac and cheese, pasta, etc.), and a couple of green vegetables. Then we eat that until the next time I cook (make plates and pop them in the microwave). If we run out of food before I cook again (we don't usually), it's pizza, burgers, or hot dogs! That's it!! If your family doesn't like leftovers, this totally will NOT work for you! LOL!

    I just switched from Franklin Covey day on two pages to a monthly weekly bound book for the exact same reason you mentioned. I want to have everything in one place and not have to worry about storing my pages. I started using a companion notebook after watching one of your first videos because I was hoping around sizes and I hated having to rewrite important info each time. I’ll definitely be adding to it and keeping it around for sure. Thanks for sharing so many great ideas and for explaining your planning system!

    Love your system, and such a detailed explanation! I've been using a Hobonichi Weeks for 4 years (for on the go in conjunction with a spiral-bound as my "main/home" planner, but this year has had me searching for something more streamlined. Thank you for this video! 🌷 I just discovered your channel! I will incorporate certain things of your permanent stalogy book in my system. I agree that having a somewhat all in one book is functional and relaxing. I had been using the bullet journal method for some time due to this benefit, the original method without the predated days or pre-made collections. Thank you a lot! I love my Hobonichi Cousin so much - I understand the terminology "Planner Peace" since I found it. I totally need to create the reference book, it makes so much sense. I have been using the daily pages for reference (I bought my planner in March, so I had two and a half months of daily pages to fill). I will be buying the Avec from now on though, because I am a memory keeping planner type - my weekly (and some daily and monthly) pages are filled with stickers and labels and tickets and photos, so the planner is getting quite bulky. Thank you for such a detailed view of your system...

    Thank you for not using and recommending a zillion purchased stickers. I see no purpose in spending hundreds of dollars to cover up paper that already costs more because it's so special. A few is fine, but some of these planner gals are so busy trying to get kickbacks that they turn the book into a multi hundred dollar drawer book. Markers are just as colorful and sticky notes are lovely. Done and done.
