My favorite Heidi character is Angel, the boxer's girlfriend from every boxing movie ever who is always taking the kids to her sista's.

Bailey is one of my favorite characters on SNL. She’s brilliantly portrayed.

I’ve never heard such an accurate description of that awkward dynamic with some teens. They’re discomfort somehow makes you feel bad for existing. This is why she nails it every time. So good.
So glad Gardner's finally getting so much well deserved attention for this character. As a dad of two formerly teenage girls, I feel a weird mix of trauma and awe every time I watch her in this role. But I have to say the first time I saw her do it I was absolutely astonished at how good she was at it. Its almost hypnotizing but in the most uncomfortable way possible...

dean I’m a sub and I do think there is a lot of accuracy to her depiction.
So for example the vocal ticks, using “like,” and “obviously” are pretty spot on.

The scary accurate part of the Bailey character will be the crush on a fictional character, like Thanos. My 15 year old daughter is like that with Tom Hiddleston's Loki. Not the actor himself--she won't watch any other Hiddleston movies. She's just into the Marvel movie Loki. If I tease her for one second she implodes.

I’m a little more in love with this woman every time I lay eyes on her. Jesus... She’s perfect.
Back in 1992, went into our West Los Angeles frozen yoghurt store to pick up a treat for my wife. I asked the young woman at the counter for "a medium chocolate soft-serve to go." My earlier experiences with the staff usually proceeded with the employee turning away and then returning, asking "what flavor was that, again?", followed by "what size did you want?" and then "did you want that to go?" This time, she stepped away to the machine and came back with my serving, saying "I had to put it in a big cup. I didn't want you to go, like, you know..." Obviously, they had run out of the medium-portion cups, so she resourcefully measured the medium serving out into the larger container. The creepy thing was that I understood precisely what she meant.
