Bay Parking for learners can be difficult in the beginning, but once you know how it's done it becomes easy. This video will make it easy for you. It shows you the theory of the parking first then it shows how it's done in practice.
The examiner looks for 3 things in the test:
1. The CONTROL of your car. Must make sure you demonstrate that you are in total control of your car.
2. The OBSERVATION, how you look and are you looking all round all the time including your blind spots, and are you looking at the back over your left shoulder when reversing.
3. POSITION, must make sure you finish withing both lines of the bay. It doesn't have to be in the middle, but it must be within both lines. If you don't finish within the lines, then you must correct by moving out and correcting.

I'll second that. My son is brushing up on driving having passed in 2014 but not driven since then as was working in London. I realise I've never really mastered parking into a bay using reference points etc, but your video is the clearest as you illustrate with diagrams - the ones where you just see the car are less easy to follow. It may take longer to explain, but it drives the message home!

Very good and precise information. It's very much helpful. A question, I see you opening door and check the line. If the parking on test is a bit weird, can we secure car and come out to see if all wheels are inside the bay. Is it allowed or need to be checked with examiner? (even if a minor is given for that). Thanks!!
