      Thanks for watching! Yeah, it doesn't get the recognition that some other weeds get, but it is a pain.

    Very good video sir. Have you ever used any kind of weed identifier app?

      Thank you for watching! I have yet to find a good app for identi weeds. I normally reference pictures off of Purdue University turf grass extension site. It has helped me learn a lot about what I see in the lawn.

    In Canada we can't get quinclorac so the only way is to pull them by hand and build a very thick and healthy grass, overseeding every year and making sure we don't have weak and bare spots. Cheers

      Thanks for watching! That's really interesting. I guess knowing you can't put anything down to kill it is motivation to pull it early before it takes over a yard.haha

    Here in Texas temps are greater than 85. I have crabgrass and nutsedge. What would you recommend doing?

      There are a couple of different things you can do. One would be to wait until later in the evening just before dark when it cools down a little bit. Another would be to pull weeds by hand. With living in a warmer climate like that, getting down a pre-emergent to help prevent those weeds from showing up will go a long way in helping you manage the lawn. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching!

    My lawn got pretty bad and out of control with crabgrass this year…will crab grass die in the winter giving me a chance to tackle it better next year? I live in Washington State and I’ve heard herbicide should be laid in the fall and early spring to help control crabgrass. If I lay herbicide in a week or so (fall application), when should I lay the “spring” application?? Do you think doing this will help or is my lawn beyond repair? Ugh…

      There are a couple of ways you could go. You could try to attack the crabgrass now, but it's going to keep you from seeding for the most part. Since crabgrass is an annual, it is all new plants each year. So, I would probably focus your efforts on seeding and building up good grass here in the fall. Then, in the spring put down a pre-emergent to prevent new crabgrass from growing next year. If you have a ton of crabgrass, it may take a few years for the pre-emergent to totally take care of it all. Just spray the crabgrass that sneaks by the pre-emergent early next year to keep them from seeding. Hope this helps! Thank you for watching.

    will this product kill bushes and plants and rose bushes?

    • @OutoftheWeeds
      @OutoftheWeeds  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would be careful spraying around any plants that you want to keep, but I don't the products that I talk about in this video would harm them. Look up your specific types of plants to make sure they are tolerant to any weed control you spray.

    Suggestion: bring down the intro audio a little. Was pretty abrupt.
