Yes, micro contrast (local contrast) on this lens is insane. The lens is not only very sharp, but it has good colors, great sense of volume (depth) and impressive local contrast. It only lacks the brillance of the 50mm S Pro, the 50mm has a cleaner look because of excellent midtones to highlights transition, however this 24-70mm has better transition between shadows and midtones, and maybe even better sense of volume. I also have the 70-200mm S Pro f2.8 and while it is not as good as the 24-70mm S Pro, it is very close and has a fantastic bokeh. If you like local contrast, I can't recommend enough the 25-50mm Leica for m43 and the 35mm GM for Sony, the 35mm GM has very good micro contrast, the 25-50mm even more, it has the highest local contrast I have seen from an AF lens.
While it's hard to find any flaws with any of the Pana L Mount lenses... for me the flaw was weight... same with the Sigma 24-70 and the Leica 24-90 and 24-70.... they just all felt too heavy for me and i'm not shooting much at the very wide end so i ended up with the Sigma 28-70 because it's such a feather weight
I recently acquired a Lumix 24 70 for $1,100 practically new, I think I was touched by god, when I see the raws from this lens on my s5ii they are so fucking good that sometimes I feel like I could deliver the raw to the client without any type of editing and the photos would still be very good, and in video not to mention, the representation of colors and the microcontrast is crazy, I am very happy to have I bought this lens at such a good price, now I'm going to buy a UV filter because the last party I covered they spilled beer on my baby :(
The 70-200 S Pro is also a masterpiece. I have it also, unfortunately I mostly use it for Work. For the 2. Perspektive in a talking head Video. But when I use it for TH-cam or Hobby I am fascinated🙏 thank you for sharing this with us 😊✌️🔥

It is easy to find flaws in all the S Prime Lenses. Chromatic aberation and so on. I cant say anything about the Sigma

I actually delivered the Client once the unedited JPEG :) oh yes get a Filter.
