I've given this some thought - I agree that paragraphs of text are easier to read with dark text on white. On the other hand, most of my text doesn't go beyond individual examples, and I often use color to highlight certain words, or word endings; and those small bits of text have greater contrast when using teal or orange etc. on a black background. I might try a sample file with dark text on a light background and gather some feedback. Thanks for your comment! :)
Спасибо, Карлос! Не забудьте: '...но у них не такой хороший.' - we want the н- after у when их is used as a pronoun; it's really like 'them'/'ellos' here, not 'their/su' (see 4:52 in the video). Ещё примеры: У них хороший преподаватель = They have ('by them there is') a good teacher. Преподаватель у них замечательный = Their teacher ('teacher by them') is wonderful. У их преподавателя старые книги = Their teacher has old books. :)
You see? you are the best sir. Thanks for going the extra mile showing us how to improve our understanding. This double-check has been even more useful for me. Just one thing, in Spanish the equivalent personal pronoun to 'ellos = they', so that we "do the genitive" as in English 'ellos tienen = they have (not them have)'.
