Just come across your vids. I only occasionally fish for Carp but your film quality info and enthusiasm should appeal to all serious anglers. Keep up the good work.
@@billybrickell3929 Fish for all sorts, Bream Tench and more recently Mullet as summer species. Winter is Pike time. Getting a bit to old for nights now but still do OK. Do a few sessions a year for carp as I have a couple of hard waters available to me. Usually manage a couple of fish a year but mostly good fish. Realy love light delicate fishing for Crucians.
I used to love fishing down hatch 15-20 years ago b4 wimborne took it over and re-stocked it. I spent a lot of time on their for years, had some cracking fish out of their up to 26lb.i don't know how many of the original fish are their these days?.
Well done mate. Amazing Video. 😎☝️👌 you put alot of passion and anything in it and finally the rods ript of. That's what it's all about.... Tight lines mate ✌
Carp Hunter noddy. I knew you were. All that crap you chat on my channel trolling people. Calling me noddy and crack head. Funny how see on other people channel licking ass.😂
Some cracking fish you catch mate! Glad to not see you filling the lake bed with hundreds of quids worth of boilies for a couple of fish! Really wanna get back into my carping properly but the prices of the terminal tackle and the baits is fucking ridiculous!
Carp Hunter they tend to spawn once we have had two weeks of warm weather when the temperatures stay consistently warm, (this is because the water temperature rises) I have found once we it doesn’t drop lower then 10 degrees through the night for two weeks in Spring that’s when it will happen, any time from April to June tends to be a good bet. I have even seen spawning in July and August for deeper lakes once the as the water takes longer to warm up. - Billy
Hi Billy. I live close by to the urban lake and regularly drive past it tho I have never fished it. Notice you, like most I see, using 3 rods, but the Club rules clearly state ‘Maximum two rods’. Not for one minute suggesting you are breaking the rules but is it just generally accepted that you can use 3 rods? Cheers and good luck for the season ahead 👍
Wayne Nippard hi Wayne, that is a great point and well spotted, I started using 2 rods when first fishing the lake but after speaking with one of the clubs bailiffs he mentioned I could use 3 rods as long as you are sensible and respecting the other members, also some swims are small and you would only need one or two rods some are better suited to 3 - Billy
i use zigs over weed if the weed 3/4/5 foot of the bottom.... you can guarantee its fishing perfect... depending on how deep the water is tho where the weed is....
Another easy ...friendly no frill but honest and genuine vlog..... please keep them coming.... and please get this boat.... tight lines yido
Yes billie! Love that you’re uploading more, makes me want to get back out on the bank after a cold miserable winter 👍

"Got a nice easterly trickling through".. 🤣 that's the first time I've heard an angler say that.
Haha, they are not always the nicest but I have caught plenty of fish on the end of an Eastly over the years, this spring they were brutally cold!
Hi, great blog , is that camo tape on your rod handles ,they look great 👍🎣

Cheers Billy. Thought it was something along those lines as most seem to use 3 rods. Did ask the Club but got no reply. Thanks for clarifying.
How comes they don’t allow zigs?
francis gordon-owens Fishery rules dude, the lake is very weedy and I imagine he spent like the thought of them causing damage in anyway

Mr Carpcatcher so do I, fishery rules mate can’t do anything about that, I always respect any rule set by the fishery
