Wish Samsung could release updates to all supported devices at the same time, this is the one thing I miss from apple
This is why I always have an iphone as main device
Apple releases 4 variants.....Samsung has like a zillion variants......why is that so hard to understand.
@@flicka25apple still update a phone that was released 2018, so basically 4 phone a year times 7 years
Samsung phones that would receive the one ui 7 update starts from 2021, which is exclusive to s series
The Fold and filp also
Few a series phone will be getting the update, I'm not so sure about m series
Well my point is, if you take the time to run the calculation, they really don't have as much phones to update as you think
@@flicka25they should work on providing faster updates to their s series devices more, it just builds more trust with new users.
Alot of iphone users have switched to samsung including myself, things like this just feels like a downgrade from the standard most people have gotten familiar with on ios.
I love samsung either way
That is the thing, I have been using samsung since the S3, but now it's getting worse, I am thinking of moving to either Pixel or Iphone.
Patiently crying in S23. Your the messenger, thank you for letting us know. In the end my phone works just fine, an update won't change my life substantially, no matter how big it is.
Might wreck our phones and I love my S23 Ultra which still has a fully functional S Pen. I dread these updates.
@flicka25 the last ultra with a curve screen, I really loved my S23ultra.
I made the "jump" from S23 to S25, and I have mixed feelings.
There is not much to miss from the new UI.
There is no substantial difference between the phones' performance, either.
By the way, I hate the new battery indicator with its minuscule percentage... Barely visible for my eyes...
I'm broadly satisfied with OneUI 6.1 and Android 14. I even came around on the Expanded Quick Toggles redesign. It's a slick and feature rich experience. As long as Samsung continues to push out security updates then I'm content to wait for however long Samsung needs to ensure that OneUI 7 is fully baked.
Great vid!!! Better to get it right than force a mistake out
"Lazy" Samsung this "Lazy" Samsung that. I abhor folks looking at software delays and calling Samsung lazy for it, this is the absolute opposite of lazy, they're working overtime to fix issues and ensure the stable release is STABLE. I will never complain about delays for such gigantic software overhauls like this when they're due to fixing issues with the software, I'll gladly wait till March even for beta 3 if it means the experience is flawless when it's finally released.
Who gives a damn about stable release I want features ASAP I'd rather have a half working feature then no feature at all. That's like the same as having a Lamborghini kit car and showing it off from the outside but having a V6 interior. I rather have the look so I can floss on everybody then I have nothing at All.
I can wait for the stable. I just wish we weren't so far behind on the Android version. But at least the 24s are more up to date on the security patch and google play system update, so there's that.
It's just sucks we so called get 7 years of updates but can't a stable release in timely manner smfh this is where Apple get the upper hand
And Google for that matter.
@@TrentonMatthewstired of waiting, switching to google pixel in a couple of days.
Really disappointing and even more when you realize they didn't even change the s25 much from the s24 series so there was enough time to finally release this update
It is what it is. Makes more people move to the s25. I'll wait.
Well those people have more money than brains. Geez they should get a life.
My S25 Ultra mystery box was just delivered. Thanks for all the hard work you and your compadres do to keep your fans and subscribers up to date with the latest and greatest.
What was in the box?
Thanks! Glad you got your box 📦 hope you enjoy it!
Even the delayed beta update of an delayed beta of an delayed update has been delayed😭😭. I thing we are playing gta 6 before one ui 7
Dont bother. Gta 6 is riddled with that woke dei BS gta is dead.
@jr_Linux this update is on the same track though 😭
I recently purchased the S25 Ultra and had a rather unsettling experience yesterday. I had intended to wait for the official Home Up release, but my patience gave way, and I downloaded it last night. I spent some time experimenting with the gesture animations. To better view the animations, I decided to change my wallpaper to a white background using the Resplash app, which provides daily random wallpapers and a convenient home screen widget for easy wallpaper changes. After adjusting the animations, I attempted to change my wallpaper twice via Resplash, but on the third try, my phone froze. I continued tapping, assuming it was simply processing, until the phone completely shut down and began repeatedly rebooting. This cycle occurred three times before a fourth reboot successfully started Safe Mode, allowing me to uninstall the Home Up APK and restore normal functionality.
To be fair you were using a beta software with the new home up but its still a little disappointing i agree
I suggest not using third party wallpaper or launcher services with beta software. You could have merely tested the gestures with a domestically applied white background instead.
repainter is kinda broken on new android, so be careful, had same rebooting cycle with an nothing 2a due to repainter
Oh Come on 😢 SAMSUNG ffs
Google started testing android 16 and here samsung is still stuck with android 15
Hey Jeff, thanks for keeping us posted here. It's tough to always deliver the bad news. Not that I'm rushing for this update, but when a company promises updates for years, they should really make an effort to push things on time. I really fear for the company and it's trajectory with its latest decisions. Nonetheless, keep up the vids. Always appreciated!
Never again Samsung. They are delayed on purpose , Pushing s25 sale . Mine next phone will be apple.
@Jeff Springer I just have a question I'm slightly confused when you announce the mystery box and case I go into your website and I hit the banner link to bring me into reserve the phone. I thought that's all I had to do maybe that is I'm not sure. Then on the unpacked event pre-order today I just went straight to my Samsung shop app and ordered the device am I eligible?
Thanks
Hopefully it will be ready by April
I doubt if Sammy will get it out before Android 16 is here.
I'd say they will definitely as Android 16 isn't due until May
Could be these Portuguese/Spanish language Google searches that everyone is seeing? 😂🤦♂️
Do you have RAM plus option on s24 ultra after instaling one ui7?
By the time android 15/ui 7 gets to us, it'll have android 16/ui 8 breathing down it's neck. Still haven't seen mystery box been sent out as I was quick enough to be in the first 1000. Of course, we've had all the fun weather pass through.
This why I asked the question on your live bro caz I did came across that info on obe gogles feed report sometime last week .. mehn annoying for fans and users .. we all so super hype for Samsung,,😤😪
Lazy Samsung is late this time with the One UI 7.0 stable update for the S24 and S23 series, and again, there's drama with beta 4
Why didn't samsung just pushed it out with an update instead of a new beta?Isn't the s25 selling good perhaps?🤔
Eish I was looking forward for the update 😢
Great content. Thanks for the update
Appreciated!
I have the new S25, and I don't have the Home Up app yet. When will that come out for us?
I have a S25U and I'm confused. How can i have stable OneUI 7.0 but S24U users are still on beta? Is the architecture of the Snapdragon chips really that different?
No it's not they are delaying for purpose. Pushing s25 sale.
Great news. I'm happy to hear that I can use DEX for PC a little bit longer.
If there would only be an option to stay at Android 14 and only receive security updates.
I use a different launcher so most "exiting" new functions (mostly gimmicks) are unimportant for me.
Is it possible to file a complaint? I really want to. I'm really pissed
A complaint about what?
Go outside smell the fresh air and touch grass
This is terrible. Giving me more and more reasons to look into one plus or even the pixels by android 16. Samsungs fallen off
But both oneplus and pixel have worse issues.
Super amazing video my dear friend. Thank you keeping us informed.
Prayers for your family. 🙏
Thanks! Appreciate it!
Does the s25U have the updated signal strength icon and Wi-Fi icon on the current one UI build?
End of February or start of March i found out for Australia it depends on the region and carrier update testing which may take a little more time those things to.
Thank you Jeff!
7 years of updates 😂 yeah right, at this pace we won't make it to Android 16 by 2030 😵💫
I don't understand why Samsung can't just be more transparent with their update timelines. We have to rely on leaks and hearsay to figure out wtf is even going on. Its pretty stark in comparison to Apple that has a fixed release date for their new updates and usually sticks to the deadline. And everyone receives the update at the same time. S24U is my first Samsung device and at this point I'm not buying any other Galaxy device simply because who knows when we will even receive promised updates. Depending on the future update situation, this might even be my first and last Samsung device.
The stable version for S24 Ultra, should be the 7.1 🤣
Might sound like bad news, but it's probably for the best we don't the One UI 7 Stable update until Samsung are absolutely positive that it's problematic. Seems like Samsung planned to release the update in February, realised it's causing issues and didn't want to risk it. I mean imagine the backlash Samsung would face if the update caused non reversible issues.
If the stable version is on the S25 series then why not just release it already for others lol
Currently on the fold 6 and not even a peep from samsung on their most expensive phone. Its disgusting. They need to sort it out. Im currently eyeing up the pixel fold for this reason. Dont treat your customers that dropped 2k on a phone like crap!!
Slow S25 sales have done this lol
Possibly
i wonder if that rumor saw late last year that said Samsung was gonna start rolling out One UI updates with the latest phones from now on really was true?
Samsung has too many phone models to maintain and can't meet their beta testing and update timelines. Annoying.
Jeff do you know when the s21 will get the one ui 7
I'd say when the stable version is released, but that's a guess. Maybe Jeff will have a better reply. 😊
My mom has my old S21 Ultra, so I'd like to know as well for her.
March
It's a 16.35 GB update (seen that size on samfw), probably compressed to half that for OTA.
When can i expect ui 7.0 update for s21?
That's ok I'm not too bothered an update isn't necessary I'm happy with one ui 6.1 as it is as heard its coming as late as March 31st so for my s24 ultra it be within March it's cool 6.1 isn't obsolete it works great and has done for months.
Android 15 was released almost a year ago... No more comments needed.
When they gonna release the firmware update for the 25 series?
They dont want to release the one ui 7 to come out too soon, because it will hurt 25 sales.
Samsung has ALWAYS been horrible concerning updates. 1:36
Samsung always late my one plus pad 2 android 15 has past the desert faster
Absolutely unacceptable for a Flagship like the s24 ultra to get the newest operating system 6 months late I have a free phone from metro that has gotten the update from Android 14 to Android 15 already
Maybe they don't really have 7.0 stability. Or they have a problem.
Just out to make money forget about older phones
Simple Samsug sales strategy. Everything is a lie. There is no such mistake. They wait to try to sell us the S25. For my part, I have used 3 Samsungs and my last phone is an S24 plus bought a few months ago. It annoys me terribly that they laugh at me. I will not forgive them. For me, they have closed the cell phone factories, television factories and everything else. Regards
Not bad news for me, I don't like One UI 7.
Its samsung. They were horrible in the old days. Got a ton of public outcry. They got better. Now, whats old is new again.
If it's going to mess up my S23 Ultra I'd rather not get it at all TYVM. I customise my phone to the hilt....it's not going to impress me at all. I'd rather they gave us more battery capacity and faster charging.
What idiot would release a update that has negative impacts on one's phone ?
A great video brother. I'm still loving the S24 Ultra 5G coming from my S21 Ultra 5G last August. I really don't mind Samsung as I have seen in our community trying to get this update right, be patient Samsung Nation. I love you all and remember, Samsung is the best. Let's get on with everyone. I'm a teck dork, 😂 Samsung forever. Have a great week everyone. 😊
stable update will be in March/ April !
Samsung is delaying update to provide us Stable version not like xiomi that rushes updates with full of bugs
🤦♂️ why they doing this.
Seeing these phones more an more as just greed an waste. I'd rather have a flip phone.
Pretty sure this was an intentional delay so those of us still holding out in our 14 day return window won't have a chance to test it before we have to for the trade-in. Just my feeling
Uh the 25 already has one ui7 on it
Smh..thanks jeff..😁😁😁👍👍👍
Im disappointed at samsung! This year they really fkd up the whole s25 series and now in software too!!!
They have it they delay it on purpose, so they can sell more s25, because as far as my concern everyone is pretty much keeping their s24 ultra n just waiting for the 7.0 UI because that's rly the only new exiting thing this year on the s25....
Why bad news? Everyone knows samsung! Why so confusion about this? As a samsung guy, i never expect nothing good about samsung, no expectations, no disappointments! Samsung only copy the bad things from Apple
Still on December security on thr s25
Atp they just playing...
Is it only mine, but does anyone elses S25 Ultra heat yp during youtube videos? Eveything else is perfectly fine, great even, but i have noticed the S25 Ultra gets a bit warmer while watching TH-cam. Didnt reallly have this issue with the S24 Ultra, so not sure if its an actual issue. Also, Ive noticed that my battery dies drain fastter than my S24 Ultra for some reason. But if im being honest, I hardly out this phone down since ive gotten it a week ago 😂
They're going to skip Android 15 and give us One UI 7 with Android 16 for older devices. 😂
@@SkyCodeNovaStar maybe 🤔
Sounds like Apple!
I'm so over Samsung 😡😢

Although I'm looking forward to One Ui 7, I'm more satisfied that it's the last time I don't need to fix any bugs. Works great this 6.1 second time.. I think A 16 will come soon.. 7 was so much improved.
Oh well, not a big deal 👍🏻
Samsung is a joke today😂😂😂
I just came back to Android from ios, next Android phone will be a pixel for me. Haven't seen such poor update management.
Samsung make a lot of different models so it makes sense to release them to flagships first.
For what it's worth; OS updates don't matter nearly as much on Androids as they do on iOS. All of your core apps on Android are updated separately from the OS. Samsung is still pushing out security patches for OneUI 6.1 too.
If you like Samsung's build of Android then there's no reason to switch to a Pixel. It gets updated faster; but, you'll still have less useful features than you'll find on a Galaxy.
@@mattdavis9601 i am used to iphone, it does not matter if you have last years phone or 2 or 3 years. You all get the same update at the same time. Same goes for beta testing, everyone can join the beta testing. I don't like this approach from Samsung. I just googled the best android phone, but most definitely will buy a Pixel after my s24U.
Those guys release 2 phones....how hard can it be for them lol
@@flicka25 nah dude, 4 phones every year and ipads. And all the phones from the years before.
Hello 👋🏼
What's up?
Good 👍🏼
What about you?
Samsung freaked it this time.
i mean that's really horrible i remember they used to do it on late October, Nov and Max on Dec wowowowoowowo Samsung
What about the a series u did say anything about it
Not for a long time :(
Nice Video
😤😤😤😤😤
They just wanting us to buy the new junk
It's starting to get a little annoying. When you think that Pixel users are using Android 16! I'm very close to dropping Samsung.... especially since they're probably doing this to sell the S25s.... Be careful Samsung 😅 Well... only GEEKs think that!
RIP S24FE (i have s24fe)

Bangggg
Firrrrrst 😂❤
Booooom
It's classic samsung🥲
