To everyone, if you are going to use this motor with a 100amp or higher controller be sure to monitor the phase wires coming out of the motor. They are very small and will get real hot. I cut mine off too just a couple inches from the motor. This motor with a 100 amp controller and an 18s lithium battery moves 330lbs of kart and rider very well. 30mph GPS top speed with plenty of hill climbing power.

What controller is that again? At work so really can’t hear anything. Assuming that’s the 72v 3000watt brushless. What brand is the 12000 watt?

It only ran hot if geared for high speed.
