I love this episode and I learned a lot. Also, the couple knows what they're talking about, and it's all based on their experience. I love the idea that they stick to the plan to avoid messing it up, not the 'chopsuy' one. And look, you'll see the outcome too; the result was amazingly done. I love the house, and this is the best episode by far!

it was nice of them to put kahit saglit the Contractor Mishap, its a prevalent problem in the construction industry. please do note that it can be countered by the Aid of an Architect and a proper Contractor.
hindi dahil mura yun na agad yun na kukunin. minsan to good to be true, para hindi dodoble sa gastos and hindi pa maStress. Kaya you have to Partner talaga and consult with the right professionals (Arch.) to source proper contractors to Bid for your dream project.
It looks like there are 4x homes on the plot or land. A very comfy design ✨️

I did not feel the “bahay kubo” vibe, its just your typical concrete vacation house with a tropical theme. Not much indigenous materials used as well.

Actually. Di ko nga gets pano naging "bahay kubo" eh. You can't even say that it's inspired kasi wala naman sila kinuha sa actual bahay kubo. Even with the interior nothing would say na bahay kubo siya. Ang nakikita ko lang ay ung kinulayan nila ung upper part nung bahay to look like wood?
The inspiration is more of ‘bahay na bato’. Overall, looks good.

Nice house at maganda pagkagawa. But don't call it a bahay kubo or a modern bahay kubo kasi walang bahay kubo features na makikita at no bahay kubo vibes yung bahay.

Wow. $300 for 12 people. In the US, $300 will get you a room with King bed with bathroom and view of highway and/or parking lot. Chocolate chip and free parking not included.

I don’t see the BAHAY KUBO in this house
Wag na mag feeling matalino yun iba. My explanation naman, at " very clear explanation" kung baket sinabi nila na "they want to get the feeling and concept of a 'bahay kubo' with a modern twist.
Tama ka boss, yung iba kasi feeling nakatira sa bahay kubo parang may alam. Klaro naman na "modern at bahay kubo style" nakasulat eh.

I had huge respect and admiration on the built of this house and the belief of the owner...pero para sabihing modern bahay kubo to..ano to? Lokohan? Ung title mema lng?
It's modern bungalow house not a bahay kubo inspired kahit man lang nakitaan ng maliit na detalye as bahay Kubo wala eh.... bahay kubo means maliit, comfortable,made of woods and nipa.kahit ganyan lang na concept pero waley.. don't fool us
They never stated it's a Bahay Kubo or even look like one - - - - > "Inspired"! Simple so don't make a big fuss about it, criticizing others and finding unnecessary flaws that's too toxic, unless you all very toxic in real life so who cares hahaha 😂

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 This is a nice place but I have noticed a few things that worry me.
First, the stairs are a little bit too steep for safety especially for kids, people with physical disability and the elderlies.
Second, the railings on the second floor balcony have extra large gaps, this is another safety concern. Had they put tempered glass or plexiglass, then I would feel safer if I were visiting this place.
Third, the twin beds on the second floor also has steep stairs and one upstairs bed has a side rail that is too low. What could go wrong?
It’s a PHL vacation rental home where guest safety is not the priority.
