Unrelated to this song but I just want to say something: so many people like to hate on BTS and say they're just another shallow boyband and that people only like them because they're cute boys, but these people are the ones that make it very hard for teenagers (who make up a large percentage of BTS' fanbase) too feel accepted and loved. BTS have always fought for the world's youth and are aware of the mental health pandemic and unrealistic expectations that younger people deal with. They fight for us and connect with us and try to help us love ourselves. They don't condescend but rather interact with us like we're equals. a lot of people like to try and insult them by saying, "Ohh all their fans are just a bunch of teenagers." And yeah, a lot of us are and that's not a weakness. BTS is aware of their fanbase and they connect with us and fight for us as best as they can.
I used to hate them for no reason but mainly because of the diffeent reason but now I am obsessed with them they made my 2020 a good year, I just want to say sorry to them. So bad. But I am now an army so this is my apology. I have 4 albulms 3 posters a blanket and I just love them so much now. JK’s cover of this song gave me lot of forgot in 2020 when my husband passed. Much more than the original, obviously. I finally, just recently tried to open up to another person and date since hun as soon as the new year started. The almost exactly 2 weeks, I realized I gave wayyy too much of myself, fell too hard, and opened myself more than I should have only to find him cheating on me physically before my eyes…not even an exaggeration- he saw me/made eye contact knew what I was seeing and he turned his back on me to walk down to her and leaving there in the dark crying and broken. I'm so tired. Staying up to do assignments before they are due. Trying to use my spare time on myself, then feel bad for not spending it on my family and friends. Cleaning, and trying to fix what I'm asked to clean and fix. I'm so tired and lost. Today, my mom said if there's anything else I can say but sorry. What is there to say? I am sorry. And lately, I feel like I haven't been a good friend to my bestie. She's the bestest friend I've ever had, and I'm slowly losing her. I'm in much pain, but I will overcome this. JK’s cover of this song gave me lot of forgot in 2020 when my husband passed. Much more than the original, obviously. I finally, just recently tried to open up to another person and date since hun as soon as the new year started. The almost exactly 2 weeks, I realized I gave wayyy too much of myself, fell too hard, and opened myself more than I should have only to find him cheating on me physically before my eyes…not even an exaggeration- he saw me/made eye contact knew what I was seeing and he turned his back on me to walk down to her and leaving there in the dark crying and broken. Sob story aside, I heard another cover of this song playing on an Amazon prime move earlier and can’t stop listening again! If only he truly knew how much comfort he is able to bring to us with his emotive voice, choice of songs, smile, beautiful heart and simply his existence! Thank you 🙏

When I listen to this song for the first time. I cried. That's when I realized how much pain I was holding in. So thank you jungkook for finally making me realize that. And "where we're dancing in our tears" For some reason made me cry more. Like I didn't realize how much pain and how long I was holding back my tears. Not only his voice but you can literally hear pain in his voice like he's been through the same thing and thinking that made me realize that, pain can be hidden and shown through many different things, but no matter what Jungkook will always be there and comfort us through his voice, his smile, laughter, or anything [and this actually goes to all Members too]

this is so nostalgic to me, especially to my being a friend to a squad. before pandemic, my friends and i used to go to our house during lunch to eat with ease. we haven't had our internet back then so as youngsters who need music just anywhere anytime, I have downloaded mp3s and this jk version of "Lost Stars" always happen to play most of the time. according to them themselves, whenever this song is played, they always thought about those moments we're eating lunch together at my place. now, as nature works, the interactions are slowly getting less and less. but one thing is for sure, we're all still friends.
