Most powerful skate mission story I’ve ever heard! Mad respect 💪. Literally had the thought while listening, “My 12 yr old son needs to hear this! Best example of passion, determination, & heart!” 🙌💥
Been following this guy for years. Very underrated imo. I feel like he’s a zero style type skater, in the best way possible. Very tech and also gnarly. Also just seems like a good dude. Tre flip nb clipper is ender material for the ages. Did it perfectly as well. Not robotic perfect,, perfect with steeze
Unbelievable story, such a rad amazing dude been enjoying his skating for like 15yrs, dude is phenomenal! Hearing this was next level, 777 not to mention paying homage to DWS while getting on Thank you. Beautiful!
Yup - the way he describes being "on that fine line" is relatable af. Out of all the random skate industry people I met over the years, David was memorable to me in the vibes he brought - good dude and I was lucky to talk to him in person for sure
its crazy only skaters can understand that feeling when youre completely dead and beat up from trying something for so long, but something comes over you to that says man FK this, one of 2 things happening right now, Im landing it, or mfs calling up an ambulance to pick me up, no other option. lmao. This mentality has torn my acl, mmcl, meniscus, broke wrists ankles. Thats part of the game if you want to stand out
I was the 77 like and until this comment there was 7 comments,I didn’t want to break the whole 7 thing but bro...dude for serious, you inspired me.the commitment and effort and not giving up is epic💪
I love how the nine club opens up the people to talk so much personal and emotional things. That means a lot to skateboard family, its inspirational. Thank you. Also 7 is my favorite number 😂
david is such a fucking legend! love his passion for what he does. side note, adams tailslide kf was his ender in zero painkiller (sick partm check it out)
Method to the madness; I remember watching Rob Welsh pop out from his nose slides and Creager nollie heel out of his nose slides. I watched their clips so many times and tried to manifest it while trying the tricks. Just like what Marc Johnson and Brian Anderson said- imagine yourself doing the trick. Easier said than done though lol.
I want the tight pants yeeters to look at this man. He knows how to Hesh. Flip to gind? Nope. Shuvfilp to grind? done. Find a hubba, and let this man listen to some sabbath.
Is this the blunt where his nose doesn't touch and he just slides his wheels? 360 flip front wheel slide? edit: My bad...This is where he doesn't lock into the slide and just slides the top of the wall. Excellent. But not a blunt
Guys thanks for adding the clip during the interview, seeing the actual footage while hearing DR's story had me immersed!

“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard” What a story 🙏

Skateboarding has big politics there are 4 Pros that control everything.
That's true dedication to the cause, he worked so hard for that trick and deserves all the praise.
Simply unbelievable. I don't even know what to say other than this is truly inspirational.

Incredible and heavy in every respect!
PASSION
This story is incredible. Even though this will probably be the most thorough telling of this battle, I'd love to see a My War on it
Thrasher needs to do a “my war” for this one
Deep interview , thanks guys
That’s the number bro amazing story behind one of the gnarliest tricks ever at clipper #7
This is actually insane plus he did the trick perfect!

his analysis of emotions and what triggers/motivates him is pretty baffling. You would think dude has a degree in PSYCH.
Taking the lords name in vein ain’t cool 😎
Some would say this was his climb…
I thought that was wee-man 🤷♂️
i don’t know why he reminds me of jake gyllenhall
Check it out
Seven is a perfect number in the Bible it took God seven days to make the heavens and the earth
Pretty odd he did it all on 7
