You need to do a react to old videos special, you can make it for this year anniversary or your 200k subscriber special which hopefully will be around the corner. I enjoy your old videos, very raw and frank, you can feel how much you had to balance your life. Not saying I don't enjoy your new content, but this stage in your life molded you to deal with all the crap and challenges ahead in life. Safe travels!
It is amazingly gratifying to see how it was so incredibly hard for you to eek by at these times to the point were you live your life today. The biggest thing I see in all your videos is how you made your life work for you from the hard beginnings to your current amazingly successful life style. It is a lesson to us all that, if you love your way of life and have the heart to make it happen successfully, then the rewards are boundless! God Bless you Eric for this lesson in life!
like someone said earlier started with a couple latest videos and decide I like your style so went back to watch from beginning. Looks lke things are getting so much better for you . Good to see you're a likeable enough guy
I had a truck and camper, the alternator charged both the deep cycle and the starter battery at the same time, and with a simple isolator which lets you use deep cycle power without draining your starter battery.I hope this helps.
It occurred to me that with a big ass mobile home like you've got, it could double as an advertising sign holder. I've noticed the odd large vehicle being placed in the far corner of a big parking lot with an ad either painted on it or a large banner bungee'd onto the vehicle. Since it's sitting at the corner of the lot, there are often banners on two sides (or painted ad) to catch both directions of travel at the corner. Perhaps you could work out an arrangement with one or more corner store owners with a big lot to park your rig in such a fashion? Just thinking outside the box. Enjoy.
Been there done that. I got caught up in that whole cash advance thing twice (im a slow learner). But sometimes you gotta do something and thats a better option than doing something illegal
The 100 watt panel is about $120 from eBay. Then you can find a starter charge controller for about $30. When you have more funds then you can upgrade to a better mppt charger controller and another 100 panel. The HF kit won't due much unless you have a small single battery.
Are you thinking about getting the harbor freight kit? For about the same price I would advice that you get a 100 watt panel from Renogy and it will be twice the power for the price. I could even help you set it up. I'm in Tacoma and some times come down to camp in Lacey.
If you ever want to venture out here to KY, let me know! I'll let you boondock here in Stanton at the church parking lot across from my house and use my wifi. The people at the church are cool and it's a very safe place to stay for a few days. Granted, you can't stay here forever, LOL! But if you want to venture out around Red River Gorge or Natural Bridge, you're more than welcome!
For sure, thanks. I've been in Kentucky a few times, might even go through there again after this summer. Thanks for watching some of my older videos. :)
I am proud of you for going to school, mine went bankrupt Eric! ITT Tech was keeping too much of that government cheese so they closed their doors before I could finish my bachelors degree! Time to go boondocking! And finish my books too!
I seen someone say that solar is not worth it. They may not know what they are doing. We will be at lake silvia in a couple weeks with our portable 300 watt solar systems and 2 6 volt batteries with works just fine.
In my city there's parking lots that have electrical outlets (for block heaters in winter) they're usually free of charge during the weekend and a certain time in the evening. Are there any like that near you? That could help if a quick charge is needed :) I'm happy you now have a solar panel.
Nomadic Fanatic have you thought about installing a battery Isolator so that the engines alt is charging the deep cycle while the engine runs? of course it would only come into play when the engine was running but it would help..
Nomadic Fanatic it should only take 2 hours of run time to recharge the battery to 70% charged from almost dead..I'm not sure how low the battery you use gets but have you ever confirmed that it was getting a charge while the engine was running? have you ever noticed the battery's charge after a short trip ? Oh and thank's for the videos..
Do you pull your car behind your RV? Or do you park it some place? In another video you showed a property where you were putting gravel on a driveway. Do you own some property there?
How much did you use that equipment? Looks huge to be taking up space in your Class C. I feel ya bro. On a positive note, you have an amazingly smart fuzzy cat to hug when you're feeling down ;-)
i know this is old, but i'm just now watching it for the first time....so good to see that someone else out there likes actual, interesting music, and not just the mindless, "sound-filler" crap they play on "Top 40" stations and junk like that...cookie-cutter, disposable music. at least that's my take on it, everyone's different...listen to what you want, and let others do the same. for those wondering who the band was, this is "Amon Amarth - The Last With Pagan Blood". SoundHound is your friend for identifying songs/bands! it's not perfect, but it works pretty well for the most part.
*It Saddens me that you had to Pawn Off your Stuff for $$ that you need so Badly... ;( I Take my Life/Job for Granted, but not anymore after seeing this Video.*
Hi pal, seen a few of your latest vids and decided to come watch your earlier ones. Must say I actually like the swearing and the humour lol. Already can see how you have changed your YT style and I like the more down to earth vids even more :)
What, what...what? Why are you pawning stuff? Even for Christmas! I'll front you the $60.00 next time. Pawn shops are in the same scumbag gutter along with payday loans, and divorce lawyers.
I know moneys scarce...But as soon as you can get a 200amp alternator and 4 trojan 6volt batteries with an external smart charging regulator...IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE...Ive been where you are at about 10 years ago so Im genuinely trying to help you
haha it is...also my friend i tried to send you a link to my fire hydrant video but you tube didnt allow it to send....Is there another way of sending you the link?
ah i see , of course, ok ill zip that over to you, Hope all is well, im just starting a long over due refurb of my LV Living vehicle, Im making vids but seem to be taking forever to upload
Don't do solar unless you can afford to do the good panels. The Harbor Freight stuff is crap. You've got very limited square footage to begin with for collection. Proper panels run about $400 each these days. I think you can expect to spend a couple grand for all the parts/pieces for a worthwhile solar install, maybe a bit less if you've got the batteries and inverters. Go with a MPTTT controller, which let you run higher voltage panels with 12 volt systems. The coolest thing about solar that I've discovered since my initial deep interest in the 70's are the re-introduction of Edison batteries. They last fifty years. See Iron Edison e.g. Probably not the best solution for mobile, but the ONLY solution for long term off-grid that makes any sense to me given the limited lifespan of lead acid. Enjoy.
And yes I have to give you crap too, the music at the beginning was depressing :P Thanks for changing it up later on....Not being a tater hater, just sayin'...Hugs to you and Jax man!
LMAO... Eric, you need a nomadic fanatic unfiltered Channel so you can totally be yourself without the stress of somebody berating you 4 using colorful language

You are handsome Eric
Im watching all these from the beginning. I like you man, you’re a cool dude!
You've come a longggg way! Started watching your vid's around a year ago. Decided to start at the beginning.
like someone said earlier started with a couple latest videos and decide I like your style so went back to watch from beginning. Looks lke things are getting so much better for you . Good to see you're a likeable enough guy
Great series! You're at the top of my Fulltime RVers TH-cam must watch.
I had a truck and camper, the alternator charged both the deep cycle and the starter battery at the same time, and with a simple isolator which lets you use deep cycle power without draining your starter battery.I hope this helps.
Have started watching your videos from #1...... I will watch all you have produced...... Enjoy the info you put up
Thanks Eric!

You wanted that life
You Crack me Up. Lol. Anyway, I too have had to Pawn things thru out the years. Love your new and older Videos Eric :)
Been there done that. I got caught up in that whole cash advance thing twice (im a slow learner). But sometimes you gotta do something and thats a better option than doing something illegal
The cash advance thing is awful. Been there done that. Peep can really hurt themselves with those 250% interest rates.

Love the parting quip! LMAO
Hi Eric the last part was funny about the $60 buck's and the hooker. Im watching all your old videos.
Oh no! Don't watch these videos! I forgot about them!! :)
He would never say that today. Don’t want to offend anyone.
Walmart can get crazy. Around Spanaway/lakewood Washington they stopped allowing boondocking. City's started forming up.
Are you thinking about getting the harbor freight kit? For about the same price I would advice that you get a 100 watt panel from Renogy and it will be twice the power for the price. I could even help you set it up. I'm in Tacoma and some times come down to camp in Lacey.
Nomadic Fanatic
The harbor freight is panels a bad deal dollar wise. IMO

Great honest vid 👍

DUDE! Was that Amon Amarth I heard?
Enjoying these early (and blunt) videos. New sub.

What are the specs on your generator? How much does it burn, what brand, how many hours? You don't seem to run your gen set too often.
Nomadic Fanatic have you thought about installing a battery Isolator so that the engines alt is charging the deep cycle while the engine runs? of course it would only come into play when the engine was running but it would help..

This video is 4 years old. I hope these fears you express never panned out. Good luck out there.
We need more raw Eric in our lives.
in the UK we have to have an address for our driver licence and insurance etc... how do you do it when you don't have a full address?
Do you pull your car behind your RV? Or do you park it some place? In another video you showed a property where you were putting gravel on a driveway. Do you own some property there?
Are you close to an Interstate? We have a ton of really nice rest areas on them here in Texas where you can stay overnight and no one bugs you.
Hi Eric, I am back, just re-watching your old videos. Hope you no longer have to do the pawn shop way of life. That interest rate is ridiculous.
How much did you use that equipment? Looks huge to be taking up space in your Class C. I feel ya bro. On a positive note, you have an amazingly smart fuzzy cat to hug when you're feeling down ;-)
what black metal band are you listening to at 5:14?
i know this is old, but i'm just now watching it for the first time....so good to see that someone else out there likes actual, interesting music, and not just the mindless, "sound-filler" crap they play on "Top 40" stations and junk like that...cookie-cutter, disposable music. at least that's my take on it, everyone's different...listen to what you want, and let others do the same.

I have the exact mixer/recorder you pawned. Only mine broke after spilling coffee into it. I would have given you $300, lol.
Pawn shops r cool to shop in only for me, I had to pawn my guitar yrs ago and never got it back and never got another one.☹
i thought walmart and targets allow rv's to park overnight?
Amon Amarth at 5:14.... hell yeah you just got a sub!
*It Saddens me that you had to Pawn Off your Stuff for $$ that you need so Badly... ;( I Take my Life/Job for Granted, but not anymore after seeing this Video.*
It is just an annual loan he did. He gets the stuff back when he pays the interest plus the loan.
Hi pal, seen a few of your latest vids and decided to come watch your earlier ones. Must say I actually like the swearing and the humour lol. Already can see how you have changed your YT style and I like the more down to earth vids even more :)
I have heard Arizona is the best state for Wal Mart camping... Shhhhhhh keep it between us
What, what...what?
Why are you pawning stuff? Even for Christmas! I'll front you the $60.00 next time. Pawn shops are in the same scumbag gutter along with payday loans, and divorce lawyers.
wow, pawnshops ... something we don't get to experience in nyc
Was that Ramstien.
Yessir

Dollar a watt to collect. How many dollars to convert and store for sundown?
Nomadic Fanatic These people telling you it costs a dollar a watt aren't telling you that's for a large system, where you get economy of scale. Enjoy.
how bout stay in rv park once a week?
2:42 :3
1-5 tonight, 6-10 tomorrow.
We are talking small money here but imagine that you pawned something for $600,000 and had to buy it back for $800,000. Same thing percentage wise.
vanscoyoc no... it would be the same thing as $600,000 and paying back $720,000
@@skateranddancerwell. If you watch the video you are wrong. It would be over 800,000 to get it back.
And yes I have to give you crap too, the music at the beginning was depressing :P Thanks for changing it up later on....Not being a tater hater, just sayin'...Hugs to you and Jax man!
Video #5 1,059 to go...
LMAO... Eric, you need a nomadic fanatic unfiltered Channel so you can totally be yourself without the stress of somebody berating you 4 using colorful language
Amon Amarth!
What's with the depressing gloomy music on the intro?
PAWN SHOPS are the biggest rip off and take advantage of those who need it most with crazy interest rates!
Take advantage? They sell a service. If you don’t like them you don’t have to go there. lol.
