They’re not too young. They’re all in their early to mid 30’s. Taka is notorious for taking extremely good care of his voice. He even refrains from eating certain foods that can damage/affect his voice. What’s interesting is that you talk about him taking care of his voice when in this particular performance he’s actually sick and if you pay attention closely you can hear the slightest crack in his voice from time to time. I think the fact that he still sounds so good even when sick is a true testament to how much he takes care of his voice and his vocal control.
They have been around for 18 years. The style has changed back and forth. the voice is still the same. The chanting is traditional for them. Any of us that has attended their concerts know that most of their songs invite us to sing along and be part of the magic. If you want something more, emo react to cry out or mighty long fall. If you want true screams, no scared is the song. They pretty much have everything in their music. Slow ballads Be the light, good goodness. They do have a collaboration with 3 other realy emo Japanese bands. I believe is Fall out. Thank you for reacting ❤
They are no that young, and have been a professional group for one and a half decades. Taka will be just fine. The band is super tight and they never fail, so clearly they spend the time they need in practice.
You should check out one of the band's instrumentals. They always have an instrumental session at their concerts. Good stuff. The whole band is so talented. I think Ryan would really enjoy "NO SCARED" at Yokohama Stadium. Nathan would probably like "Deeper Deeper," also from Yokohama Stadium. (Guitar vs bass focused songs) No need to worry too much about Taka and his voice btw. He's got very good technique according to all the vocal coaches who've reacted to the band. Should note that he was actually sick here which resulted in a more raspy tone than usual. I think it adds more raw emotion to the song though.
