Stumpy Nubs has a couple of helpful review videos on masks. In particular he warns against masks that aren't certified. I've used a 3m respirator for a while now but it can get hot and it is a bit bulky. Just ordered a Trend Air Stealth mask that has replaceable N100 and P100 filters. Hoping that will work better with my safety goggles and ear protection than the respirator!
These masks are good for anything above about 3 microns. You'd have to determine the size of the particles to know if this will work. Thanks for watching!
I like the cheap plastic blue ones with cloth-trimmings(comfort) where it touches the face but not the eleastic. The exhaust valves and soft sillicone-rubber of cheap green "welding" goggles as a strap-over-layer for the blue. Maybe with a wet-shirt face cover-all for a hot day. World is not that customisable. But having a structure under a wet shirt makes wet cloth or many other masks breatheable. That cheap thingy is very useful.
Thanks for watching, Todd! These things are funny....I tried the ones with ear loops and have that same problem. This one doesn't bother me, but another type with the same strap may. I think masks and respirators are kind of like safety glasses....I'm glad there are a lot of choices because we are all made differently. Thanks so much for the kind comment!
Thanks for watching, Eliseo. I think the supplier has taken down the link due to the extraordinary global demand for masks. I do not have a good source for these or any other masks at the moment. I'm sorry.
Thanks for watching. Yes, seems these are not available at the moment with the COVID-19 pandemic. Hopefully they will be available when things settle down.
Thanks for watching! No, it has a plastic piece across the bridge that keeps it in place, and it flexes a little, but it can't be bent to a different shape. I would like to see them make this with a bendable bridge piece.
Thanks for watching, Eileen! My Dad can breathe sawdust all day and never have a problem. I get just a little sanding dust in my nose and I'm sneezing, coughing, etc....its aggravating but this mask is so comfortable that it has made things much better. I still prefer this mask over others I've tried and it is still working well for me. I shake the dust out of it every so often and keep going. It has made me so that I don't put off the sanding jobs now! :)
Thanks for watching, Paul! I've never had one with the ear loops, I think that would bother me. But....I've seen several people use them and like them. I think all of the masks are kinda bad about making glasses fog up. I catch myself mouth-breathing under my mask to avoid glass fogging haha
Thanks for the tip Dennis! It looks perfect and lightweight! I have been unhappy with my present mask and this looks perfect to use.
Thank you for watching, John! I really like it, I've been using it for about 2 months and it beats my old heavy respirator.
Hey Dennis
Another great job thanks for taking the time your the best
Thank you so much Danny! As always, I appreciate you watching!
Very cool. I think we should wear masks when we work. I think the filtering effect of bcmask masks is very good
Thanks for watching. The right mask for each job is most important.
Now I could use a mask like that Dennis. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for watching Joe! Yea I really like it, it's light weight, easy to take on and off.

What about if you’re a mechanic for a conveyor belt ?? Is this a good mask for black dust ??

The white sillicone structure for covid19 does not have that much of a mortal-kombat look...
Thank you for watching!
Would the second one be good to wear in a tobacco warehouse?
Thanks for watching! No, these are not NIOSH approved masks, I would not wear them for anything other than dust protection.
I bought one like it. The thing I don't like is the strap behind my neck rubs my skin raw. Nice video, thanks for posting.

I found the same mask under a different name and posted the link in the description. Refill filters are available with it also. Thanks!
👍 thanks for the upload and God bless you sir.
Thank yo so much for the blessing and thank you for watching!

Is the nose bridge adjustable?

Hi Dennis. Thanks for the review. Sounds like I have similar issues to yourself with sinus troubles. How's the mask performing since this video?

I have one of those with ear loops. They are good and the loops prevent it from slipping. The only problem they do terrible job from fogging glasses

Smell comes from particles. If you could smell the oak scent through the mask, fine particles are still getting through.
Thank you for watching, Brian!
good video thank
Thank you for watching!
Thank you
Thanks for watching, Ranell!
