Hello!, first of all thank you for the nice tutorial, I am getting stucked a bit. I am having troubles seeing the layers in Unreal Engine in the paint tab I get no layers, even when I can see them displayed in the info at the node in houdini with the little cloud icon and all. I noticed my layer resolution says (2017,2017,1), is this the problem?Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi! Have you setup the material? Create the material with the landscape layers, named to match the layers in Houdini. Then assign it to the landscape using the unreal_material string attribute with the reference to the material. Once you've done this, you should see the layers in the paint tab and appearing correctly in the material.

Hello Ian!, well at first I tried without setting up a material and no layer were present, So later I did my material and created the layers and the layers appear, I did matching names for them, but they do not mask only the areas that they do in Houdini, is like there is no layer masking at all on any of them. :( , I did not used the material string, trying this now!

    Goodnight,
    First, congratulations on the work.
I'm having a problem with the HDA, the Houdini plugin is active but it gives an error when starting the Houdini Engine session. The version of my Houdini is Apprendice.

Unfortunately, HDAs created in Houdini Apprentice cannot be used by Houdini Engine or Houdini Engine Indie

Very cool tutorial, thanks so much! Any idea why my landscape material doesn't show up correctly? The bedrock is always black, the other channels/colors work. All settings in the material appear to be the same for each of the channels (bedrock, debris, water, sediment).

HI! My suggestiosn would be to check that the bedrock layer is named correctly in Unreal to match the layer in Houdini and to check the Heightfield Remap used to remap the bedrock is setup correctly (0utput min and max set to 1 and clamp min and max are checked.)

@@deadshot-re9ic Does the same happen if you use the landscape digital asset in the project files? (Follow the link in the description.)
