    This V.C.S video release introduces the new £60 million Paint Shop facility which has been created and Ellesmere Port.
    As part of Vauxhall's continuing drive for leadership in all aspects of manufacturing and marketing, the new Ellesmere Port Paint Shop is a key element in the ongoing objective to provide our customers with the highest standards of excellence which today's owner demainds.
    The video should be used in Dealerships to reinforce the message of quality of build, of finish and of all steps to enhance the Vauxhall product offer.

      That applies to pretty much any car with solid paint and no clearcoat. The clearcoat acts as the UV barrier and weather sealant to protect the colour coat underneath - Metallic finishes always used to get that because they charged you £££s extra for it! But the solid colours didn't because they were "free". In fact It's only fairly recently that clearcoat on the solid/no cost colours has become widely standardised so faded red/blue cars are not so common now.
