No, no, it was on the 2005 IDSF World championships, Steffano used to dance with his sister Annalisa and it was there first world championships they made it into the final. Bryan Watson and Karen Hardy where the commentators on the event : ) That would be funny if Bryan Watson started posting comments on TH-cam though : )
true he is quite tall but even with this height difference these two won every single competition they went to in 2008 their simply majestic and I thin stefano's height against anna's makes it more sexy him being able to man handle her well like man. I personally like their tallshort pairing compared to Andre and Elena
@7LANGI they both wanted to turn pro and Slavik wanted to dance with her and Stefano had another partner Olga to dance pro with. It's like Franco and his Am partner Oksana and why they split when they turned pro and know he's with Oxana Lebedew. I prefer Anna with Stefano over Slavik though : )
It's primarily the difference in their heights - he is tall, she is not. I think he is doing his best to dance small (watch his foot placement, they are atleast 2 feet apart or more in most of the sequences). Not much a man can do beyond that, and still move :-)
If you want to be a good pro you'd want to do a lot of major comps like these two and get good placings, they've both been dancing many years amateur and wanted to make it in the pro realm as well. The higher ranking as pro you are the more you can charge for coaching and teaching.

I think Anna danced wonderfully with Stepheno, not with any other .......
@mistykitten1 I think they use parts of this routine and Slavik brings in choreography from when he was with Karina and Elena.
