Haha, Pestily finally giving into his inner ExfilCamper. Looooooooooong have I waited.
Personally been taking a few wipes off to not feel like I have a fulltime job outside of my fulltime job, and this is the best way for me to get my Tarkov fix.
I stopped playing a long time ago and the Hardcore Series from Pestily is the only content of this "cheatergame" that i consume... He is just very entertaining and is a great player too, i think it will take at least 1 year to get me into this game again.
Spoke to my shrink about us former military guys having so many dreams about getting back in the army, she gave me so many reasons for that, from triggers we all have to being bombarded with news about conflicts happening so much. even playing so much tarkov can be a trigger. the unconscious brain is weird like that. Let's be happy until we get summoned for WW3. lol.
For years I would at random have dreams that I was waking up and was in the Army again. I would go into absolute panic and wake up in RL soaked from sweating. Been years since I’ve had them and never pinpointed my triggers
@@luckytaytay9445 Trauma is a bitch. but keep going, in the end, it's just a dream, wake up, wash your face, close your eyes, breathe, and think that you already are in another cycle and lifestyle. that is in the past. I'm 36 now and have dreams, but so much less than 5 years ago, and even less than 10 years ago. so I think it gets better.
This obviously pales in comparison but I've had the same with my first retail job from over 15 years ago. School as well. Just a thing our brains do. Obviously back to the army is a lot more intense but I understand and sympathise

@@dmtaboo_truth7052 the problem is that some countries, like mine, have a death penalty for people that escape the summon in times of war if you served and were on reserve duty, check how it is in your military, most of them have serious penalties, at least 20 years in jail.

Hard agree about getting the game 1.0 ready instead of adding all the little gimmicks.
Sure they can add body drag, PMC karma or what not, but this barely gets the game closer to the 1.0. These are all little "sidequests" in the game development, like "oh what if we tweak what we already have this way?".
I feel like the game is bogged down in this "sidetracking" hell for years now, they can add all the guns they want but they won't get us closer to the open world, new storyline or whatever else they promised. Or hell, even just finish up all the skills that are unavailable for years.

I have the opposite dream Pest. I got into trouble in the Navy, and got sent home. It is simultaneously the best, and worst thing that has ever happened to me (it was my doing of course, and I deserved what I got). But I dream that I'm still in the Navy, only it makes me happy, and waking up I feel a bit of shame. This was 10 years ago, so it doesn't sting so bad anymore, and I'm happy and doing well with my life. But it's a regret that I will carry with me until I'm dead. No matter how a veteran feels about their service, I still thank them for it. There is a lot of sacrifice that comes with military service, even for those who are not combat oriented (obviously not the same, but a sacrifice nonetheless). So, thank you for your service Pestily, and thank you for all the entertainment we all get from your videos!
For nearly 5 years after I graduated high school, I had recurring nightmares that I was back in school and had to redo it all again. There was no proof that I completed school, and nobody believed me when I told them. I'd wake in a sweat. It sounds funny, but it was a major source of anxiety for years.

so much more enjoyable watching this than playing the game haha. just did 3 lives for setup and died all 3 times not a single pmc kill. just some gigachad one shots me. only life which was any fun was i managed to get in the construction site and killed like 7 scavs a couple of which were player scavs and died by a dude sitting in a bush by ruaf extract. mag dumped him with 8 rounds of piranha so he was hurting but still. next life i got 1 shot in dorms. had a decent spawn got in there early went in the middle floor and one shot a scav reloaded and took his backpack. and i was walking down the corridor and he ran in the opposite end. i got in a room and leaned out ads'ing and i held him for like 15 seconds. he then flash peaked me and1 shot me in the armpit.
On the whole "psychosis" comment someone donated saying. Im bipolar, and not knowing when shit isnt real is the scariest shit ive ever had to experience, its downright chilling
