After sueing SM, Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun were blacklisted. That means they couldn't have promoted their music or appeared in any music show or variety show for 14 years until now. SM wanted to earase their working so it rarely find any old videos of them (OT5), mostly fan uploaded. Obviously, we can't see their name in any kpop ranking commonly. But don't worry, TVXQ is always appreciated the best kpop group. They are idols of idols. I recommend you check out their live performance of group and each member as well. there’s hardly any tvxq reactions on TH-cam so I was so happy when I saw this!! I loved hearing ur thoughts on the album (it’s personally my favorite pre split album of theirs along with o). I also completely agree with you on wanting groups to bring this vocal style back. no one sings this soulful and gritty nowadays, and ppl definitely need to bring it back!!
Ironically, Jeajung likely found himself on the list of the most handsome, beautiful, visual and the richest K-pop rather than be nominated on the vocal ranking even though he is indeed a legit singer that is versatile in many genres. (In TVXQ early days he even did beatboxing as well) Curse his beauty that is overpowering his vocal ability LOL FYI since he was almost active only in Japan after SM banned him in Korea. Try searching his content with Jejung or J-Jun instead.
There was a recent ranking I believe of 11 best male vocalist and JJ made it to the list. But yes, JJ and Junsu are top tier. Changmin has been effortless since the start. This group has been hand picked from their own trainee groups so it’s really the best of the best.
