I don’t agree with all of his views but there is no denying he is one of the GOATS. Dude just sang almost 2 straight hours and got better as he went along. Major kudos to them!
Please do not let the sound in this video discourage you from seeing him. I was there this night and it was incredible. The voice, the high notes, and the performance were all great! No offense to the device used to record this but I got some videos with my phone and his voice sounds clear. Stay positive for all those with plans to go.

Wow is unbelievable. I think all the songs were in original key. To perform 2 hours at this level required an exceptional talent and training! Brendon is definitely one of the best singer out there atm!

Saw him in Houston two days after this and it was the second best concert of my life. The first best was when I saw him in 2019 right before everything shut down. My forever favorite ❤

Really cool he's doing the entirety of the Viva Las Vengeance album live....BUT, still only doing 1 song from A Fever You Can't Sweat Our and 1 song from Pretty.Odd.? I was honestly hoping this tour would see a change for that. Considering VLV is the most organic sounding effort since Pretty.Odd. I was hoping for more songs from those albums to see inclusion again, but hey. TMO.
He skipped Vices and Virtues entirely. Like, I never thought I’d see a Panic concert without The Ballad of Mona Lisa (not their absolute best, but still a really good song and one of their biggest hits).

Everyone know cellphones don't pick up great audio in loud places. He sounds great on this recording, so I guarantee he sounded amazing in person. This was taken from the furthest point away in the stadium too. I also don't see ot hear any lip syncing at all. Listen to the original and listen to him live. It's obviously him singing.
There are quite a few voice cracks in the verses of the new songs then the audio quality suddenly changes and he's able to do the chorus perfectly, in viva las vengance he takes down the mic down too early in reply which I don't think is at all due to lag of the camera.

Love this band to death I know every song from the first album. That was pure panic in its rawest original sound. To see it form into musical type music is just tough people didn’t even know the words to 70% of the concert.
I went to the Detroit show and it was Amazing. Literally one of my all time songs besides I write sins not tragedies was Middle of a breakup and Victorious.
Plus he hasn’t been out on the road in like 3 years so he’s gonna be a little rusty with the vocals but Im sure if he started singing them again he’ll get them back in no time

This was the wrong way to do a Panic! set. They should have transposed the mixed ranged songs one to two steps lower like on previous tours. Singing in the original key over the _entire album_ LIVE was a huge mistake, because they definitely didn't play every song back-to-back in the studio while being at optimal humidity and vocal conditions. Also, a lead vocal track? Come on! I don't understand how that could get past the cutting room floor when everyone knows Brendon sings different on stage. The parts where it took over in Local God and Do It to Death were obvious since he likes to drop his larynx in a live setting - which creates that distinct almost-yawn sound - instead of keeping it neutral. He's in no way a bad singer now (You can hear him fighting with the chorus track in Don't Let the Light Go Out like it's a cakewalk), yet from footage posted online, I can tell he's uncomfortable constantly being in the studio range, causing his voice to push too hard, distorting and softening easily, letting the backing track take over what could have been a wonderfully held B4 or C5. He needs to take care of his voice so it doesn't give out midway through the tour.
I can relate. The closest they ever came was still a six hour flight away from me and that was still 10 years back. Now the closest your stop is almost a 10 hour flight away from me.
I noticed there’s absolutely no tracks from Vices on the set list & that makes me a bit sad ngl. Ballad & Ready to go or Lets kill tonight should’ve been part imo
We saw him in HOUSTON. Kids were wiped out by the time SINS came on so we left. Sad we missed 2 songs but Worth it to share the experience with the kids.
lol struggling at the start of VLV singing the belting parts in falsetto and then suddenly the chorus comes in and he sounds exactly like the original HAHAHA and it's like this for every song oh boy Really should've done it all in a lower register as he was used to doing
The lack of backflip after Miss Jackson is jarring also interesting decision to do the entire new album like how the fuck is his voice gonna hold up for this the album already sounds like he’s straining himself in the studio version which along with the subpar lyrics really hurts the album but to do the whole thing it feels like self sabotage when he know that so many people are just dying to get a tik tok of him botching a high note. Generally confused with the strategy there.
If you watched the interviews, he just wanted to have fun. He wrote what he wanted and had fun doing it. That's what music is all about to these musicians. He hasn't performed live in 3 years and has been playing drums for Mike Viola revamping old songs, ofc his vocals won't be the best. Shit changes after performing for 16 years at such a vast and high vocal range along with his energy. Dude wore himself out and is still making music. The strategy here is him having fun doing what he loves.
Aight I know we can all notice the lipsyincing on some track, but guys, considering how many songs he sings in this whole and the difficulty of all of them, u kinda have to give him a break xD I mean i'd prefer if he would decrease the amount of songs to perform to feel more comfortable using his voice but uk, hope he keeps it healthy
He's definitely lip syncing for his new songs. The new stuff is too high and quite irritating with the whining and yelling. He probably should have transposed them down live, like they usually do. I guess it's some marketing tactic to make the songs high like Fallout Boy, Panic, Imagine Dragons, but when they sing live, it's either a half step or full step down. Brendon Urie hasn't used lips sync until now. I guess it comes with age. Either way, he still sings high.
It also probably comes with not performing live let alone on your for three years now. His voice isn’t as broken in so it’s wearing out easy. From what I could tell he only used the lip syncing on the choruses so maybe that’s just a back up for when he knows he won’t be able to hit a note.

Looks like an amazing show BUT the set list is very underwhelming… a lot of goods song left outside and there is like a lot of song of the new album that play after another. The should mix it up.
The show seems just ok, he's not really hitting and holding the big notes a lot of the time. 'Into the Unknown' especially is a struggle, it probably shouldn't even be on the setlist.

Its really sad how he can't sing his new songs naturally without lip-syncing, but it is understandable why he lip-syncs in those songs. Those damn notes are far too high! Eh, almost all the songs in his new album are high pitched. At least he still can perform his older songs well!
Super disappointed though. He used to be one of those singers who never lip sync, but now he's not one of them. Can't trust them anymore on doing actual live singing in the future

Not lip sync, it’s called play back. And almost everyone uses it, lip sync u couldn’t hear him at all, but it’s him, with a track

The parts where it took over in Local God and Do It to Death were obvious since he likes to drop his larynx in a live setting - which creates that distinct almost-yawn sound - instead of keeping it neutral. He's in no way a bad singer now (You can hear him fighting with the chorus track in Don't Let the Light Go Out like it's a cakewalk), yet from footage posted online, I can tell he's uncomfortable constantly being in the studio range, causing his voice to push too hard, distorting and softening easily, letting the backing track take over what could have been a wonderfully held B4 or C5. He needs to take care of his voice so it doesn't give out midway through the tour.

The lack of backflip after Miss Jackson is jarring also interesting decision to do the entire new album like how the fuck is his voice gonna hold up for this the album already sounds like he’s straining himself in the studio version which along with the subpar lyrics really hurts the album but to do the whole thing it feels like self sabotage when he know that so many people are just dying to get a tik tok of him botching a high note. Generally confused with the strategy there.
If you watched the interviews, he just wanted to have fun. He wrote what he wanted and had fun doing it. That's what music is all about to these musicians. He hasn't performed live in 3 years and has been playing drums for Mike Viola revamping old songs, ofc his vocals won't be the best. Shit changes after performing for 16 years at such a vast and high vocal range along with his energy. Dude wore himself out and is still making music. The strategy here is him having fun doing what he loves.

He's definitely lip syncing for his new songs. The new stuff is too high and quite irritating with the whining and yelling. He probably should have transposed them down live, like they usually do. I guess it's some marketing tactic to make the songs high like Fallout Boy, Panic, Imagine Dragons, but when they sing live, it's either a half step or full step down. Brendon Urie hasn't used lips sync until now. I guess it comes with age. Either way, he still sings high.

It also probably comes with not performing live let alone on your for three years now. His voice isn’t as broken in so it’s wearing out easy. From what I could tell he only used the lip syncing on the choruses so maybe that’s just a back up for when he knows he won’t be able to hit a note.

He sounds uncomfortable with the new stuff. Like, between Middle of a Break Up and House of Memories, the difference in his delivery is night and day. And those are both songs he hasn’t performed live until just now.
Middle of a Breakup is a song from the new album and he HAS performed it live before the tour during promotional, televised performances.

Looks like an amazing show BUT the set list is very underwhelming… a lot of goods song left outside and there is like a lot of song of the new album that play after another. The should mix it up.
The show seems just ok, he's not really hitting and holding the big notes a lot of the time. 'Into the Unknown' especially is a struggle, it probably shouldn't even be on the setlist.

Its really sad how he can't sing his new songs naturally without lip-syncing, but it is understandable why he lip-syncs in those songs. Those damn notes are far too high! Eh, almost all the songs in his new album are high pitched. At least he still can perform his older songs well!
