- Hello Friends! Today is my first try at labradorite. I have seen various pictures of them and they come in different color and shapes. Hope you enjoy my take on it. Make sure to chime in as I love to hear from you all!!
Products used:
Sculpey black clay
Mica powders: Perfect pearl: Pearl and Gold, Meyspring Imperian Emerald, Eye Candy Mica Chartreuse, various other mica powders
Alcohol ink: Indigo, Purple, Gold metallic additive
Amazing Clear Cast Resin

@@joannascorner4478 I've seen people use colored clays to make stones and I usually don't have much luck with that but I'll prob try this I love labradorite
I like the biggest 1, I’d be interested to see what it would look like if you put a very thick layer of resin, or even filled a mold some with resin and pushed 1 of these into it, to give that deep look when finished
OOOOOOO, that sounds like such great idea! You are thinking a much larger mold, right?
@@joannascorner4478 Could go bigger, but even if you made a smaller size and pushed it into the larger size 1 that you made, see at 4:16 before you trimmed it? That on a little smaller scale then pushed into the mold you used with resin, even resin with a little black dye in it, hope I’m making sense, I love labradorite ever so much, best faux I’ve seen
