They really are growing on nice Ad yeah would say the filter could do with a freshen up a leased 4 to 5 times a week the muck thats in the filter is the same as being in the vat so thats how I tend to look at the nasties in the filters the cleaner the less chance of problems looking forward to the weekend hope your scrape comes out clean Bro good luck Ad 🤞👍

Interstate update👍😊. That filter was minging 🤢🤮 amazing just how much waste they produce. Mystery with the mouth movement of that fry, possibly gill flukes???. I like your favourite fry, definitely one to watch👍😊 but my favourite is little Zebede🤣👍. Looking forward to the next video👍🐟🈲😊

They have done really well and looking spot on 👌
With that fish it might have some grit stuck in it's gills or like you say a bit of pellet.
Nice to see my fish doing well 😃

Koi are looking fantastic. Love the care you put into this hobby 👍🏼 I’ve got a platinum Ogon that did the same with its mouth, as the days past I noticed a small sore/ulcer appear in its mouth. Worth checking. I really hope it’s ok. Looking forward to the weekend upload. Keep up the great videos 👍🏼

Great video Ad's i hope you can find out whats wrong with it and hopefully cure it. I very much doubt it but could it be gill flukes or costia? 🤞🏻 crossed its not ethir but if it was then at least its treatable 👍🏻. All the best, Tel 😊🙏🏻😊

@@ADS-KOI its an idea and it might cure it and wouldn't harm them anyway. 👌🏻

If you scrape your little beni kikokuryu and don't find anything and hopefully you don't, I would suggest checking if the gill filaments have somehow been damaged. If they have the rapid breathing could be because the fish needs to pass more water over them to get the necessary oxygen.

Generally heavy breathing means problems on the gills, either gill flukes or costia...
A few ginrin scales is a sign of good quality skin, not a fault :-)

It's a difficult choice for those who don't want it, but from our Japanese point of view, we think that we should find this kind of elite 7:14 and weed them out little by little, rather than trying to bring them all up in the same way. According to my rule of thumb, less than 10 fish by spring? We believe that this is the principle of NISHIKIGOI. If you don't want to do that, then we suggest you separate the elite from the rest.
