actually, the "bull who demands child sacrifice" is NOT baal but moloch and the true Baal actually is just neutral like a good deal of "pagan" gods, he was most likely a real person whose followers acted on their own accord and someone loved the manifestation of rain, strength, and fertility so much, that they killed their child for him in a starkraving, fanatical fit. it even happened to Radegast who was the original deity of strength, hospitality, and harmony of Russia and then one of his "followers" sacrificed a man of god to him. i mean, Buddha didn't ask to be worshipped, sometimes free will is a double-edged sword that is a curse as much as it is a blessing and the "followers" of something benevolent end up being the defamation of historical figures of great respect and admiration, which is truly tragic and breaks my heart. i truly do hope they find a cure for ignorance, amen. - from one christian priest to another.
