Again. I agree with Chris about Bo Nix. I feel Bo Nix is a perfect fit for Sean Peyton. I think that Michael Penix Jr. is a fit for the Raiders. And I definitely agree with him about Drake Maye.
I totally agree with Drake Maye. I know he didnt have a ton around him at UNC, but im just not sold, and while theres zero logic to it, Mitchell Trubisky just leaves a bad taste in my mouth for UNC QBs. Id much prefer Daniels at two than him if im Washington.
I need simms to dig deeper into the WRs of this draft. Suprised he didn’t mention Ja’Lynn Polk but I’d love to hear his thought on guys like Javon Baker and Jalen McMillan
actually its rbs i should want more. he didnt even watch the best backs of this class because its a "poor" class and most websites put the same hyped guys for 2 years without reranking that much. i mean blake watson is the best back for me on film, but he was ranked in the 20s. pocket hercules doesnt even have him in his best 30 backs.... just 2 days ago, nfl draft buzz at least bumped him a bit. they bumped isaac guerendo a bit weeks ago because he had a brian thomas combine like.
Cause they are covering first round talents and the first round scenarios primarily and only using high second round guys to make comparisons if they need to. So I don't think you wishes will be met unless they start covering 3rd round picks or later
Could be wrong, but man, I like the over 5.5 on that McCarthy pick. I also really like the under 6.5 for WRs taken in round one. Maybe teams start panicking after Odunze is taken off the board, but do you guys think theres SEVEN WRs with first round grades this year? Its close, but idk.
If Odunze falls to the Jets, that’s the pick. They’re a Garrett Wilson injury away from starting Mike Williams coming off ACL injury, stone hands Lazard and two UDFA’s.
My guess is the Jets trade up to 8 for Rome. Wouldn't take much because Atlanta wants to go defense... Probably. My Bears are taking Odunze if he's still there at 9.
If the Bears want to give Caleb the best shot they'll definitely cut Velus regardless of the draft. Doesn't matter how good the QB is if the receiver drops the ball every time. Travis Scott might be pretty electric with Caleb's accuracy. He's got sweet yac ability plus can learn a few tricks from Keenan. Definitely need Rome to perfect the receiving core. Rome at X, DJ at Z, Keenan in the slot. Scott in the slot next year. 🔥🔥🔥
Honestly you should just stop talking about the Titans all together lmao. Yall said Dillard was still on the team a week ago, and now you just said they woudlnt draft WR. Despite the HC saying all things being equal he wants guys who score over guys who don't touch the ball. Hopkins is a FA after this season and Callahan comes from Cinci. Who picked Jamar over Penei. Just say you have no idea when it comes to the Titans. Makes you seem like an even bigger non deserving nepotism baby than you already are.
The only 'off the field ' stuff i see with Brian Thomas is his shoulder issue. I guess i wouldnt consider that 'off the field ', but im not sure what else there could be. Curious if there is something else.
Anybody voting Ray Allen over Reggie Miller doesn't know ball. Ray couldn't even lead his team to the playoffs as the "guy", let alone to the Finals like Reggie did. Reggie is 23rd on the All-Time scoring list and Ray is 27th. Stop it.
If the top 3 WR's are gone, and Joe Alt is gone as well, I could see the Jets take DT Byron Murphy or CB Quinyon Mitchell over Bowers and the other OL prospects. DT is a need for the Jets. A guy to pair with Quinnen Williams. Not to be a big factor this year, but to develop into a starter eventually.
I think it depends on what the Chargers expectations are because it is currently impossible to compete for a superbowl without at least one great receiving weapon. The Chargers will need one at some point!
@@jakkeday1The problem is, Greg Roman does not value the WR position. And even if the Chargers do draft one, their ceiling will be extremely limited. They should go o-line, and if they wanted a weapon Bowers would be a better fit if they were to trade down.
@@trevorsteadman1322 In 2019 & 2021, the Ravens used their 1st round picks on WR’s (Hollywood Brown & Rashod Bateman) and Roman was the OC. Those were late 1st round and this is pick No5 so maybe it’s different or maybe not! I just think their biggest deficiency is at WR and Nabers might solve it. I do agree about Bowers though!
@@jakkeday1 that’s the thing though, they were late 1st rounders and never have led the offense in targets. Roman specializes in the run game and targeting the tight ends in the middle of the field. He can’t create an offense around creating WR separation. They would be better off going in other directions.
I think the Chargers should do everything they can to trade back a few if they want to go OL. I just dont see much difference between Latham and a few of the other primo OL in this draft, although I could be full of it. I feel they need picks, and arent going to truly contend for atleast another year.
Why is nobody adding in the factor that drake is the youngest of the top 3 and if he would have stayed in college one more year. Would without a doubt be the number 1 pick. 21 years old with absurd stats and talent but mad cause sometimes he has wild mechanics and make bad mistakes. But also has the worst cast around at UNC. Most of these other guys have teammates going in the first 2 rounds. Drake Maye has the same scouting report as Josh, Jlove, Pat. Also younger then most of them when they got drafted
Needs a better cast. Enjoy Chris Simms but him working with these two guys is like lebron james playing for Cleveland and Delonte west and Anderson Varejo were your best 2nd options. Find you a Chris Bosh and D-Wade not patrick and spongebob
Chris simms saying Venus jones is a good little slot guys shows me he has no clue who that guy even is Venus jones jr is basically strictly on screen plays designed just for him had to take him off special teams because he couldn’t catch a punt for anything Venus jones is as worthless as I would be out there he’s not good and oh yeah he’s almost 30 in his 3rd year… yeah draft a we bears be smart
Not enough time stamps tbh

They went position to position for like a month. If you go back a few weeks you'll find one that's just wr rankings.

I didnt think Aaron Rodgers ever gets first round WR help. I thought that was a universal law or something lol.
I think you’re confusing Maye with JJ.
Velus jones could be cut in camp this year. If the bears want to give Caleb the best shot at success give him 3 top WRs

Id get him an OL guy to help protect him, which could give him not only success, but possibly save his health as well.
If Bo Nix was 22 years old and he only played the last 2 years at Oregon would he be view as a top 10 pick ?

If Kaleb Williams trips over the red carpet and tears his ACL before the draft he is still going #1
damn that would be soooo Bears QB if that happened :•O
I would still want him in Chicago.
And we can then tank and get the #1 again next year for more weapons.
