A visit to the Nene Valley Railway.

A visit to the Nene Valley Railway on Wednesday 27th October 2021. The locomotive in steam was Polish 'Slask' 0-8-0 tank 5485 and is seen on passenger service on the line. Also seen in the video is Sentinel Diesel DL83 which pulled some continental stock into the platform ay Wansford once the last service train had headed to Peterborough.
Note that the hum at 04:12 is not interference, the loco itself was making that noise whilst in Yerwell station!

i remember seeing the polish tank engine back when i was just a kid, nice to see it got a new boiler and can return to the rails again

My son is special needs and he loves trains 🚆🚂🚋🚞🚝🚊🚉🚈🚇🚅🚄🚃🛤 they're one of his favorite things in the whole world 🌎. He especially likes the railcar at 12:51 and wishes it was operating in this video.

The steam locomotive is Polish 0-8-0T Class Slask No. Tkp 5485 built in 1959 for coal fields and steel works.
