Man i got hit with the biggest nostalgia seeing a loot hoarder get backstabbed and a 2 mana 3/2 get played and no other bullshit happens. Edit: MC tech too?? My god we made it back to 2014 bois everythings okay
I one of my games I had a starship at 25 pieces. 62/85. 2x dimensional core, 8x felfire thrusters, 4x arkonite defense crystal, 3x starlight reactor, 3x guiding figure, 3x specimen claw, 2x shattershard turret.
like that sounds so fun until reska/yogg/reno just ruin it. i cannot wait for rotation because i don't see how starships can be playable with them in standard
Starships have always had potential to be insane. The issue is things that aren't showcased in the video like: 1) Aggro decks just murder you before you get them going (It's a reason why Pirate DH is popular in the Brawl, just SMOrc the opponent before they play their Starship) 2) Cards like Aman'thul, Yogg and Reno just invalidate Starships. While these are not available during the Brawl.
starships are a wild concept. deathrattle: make your 5 mana unstoppable setup more OP. it's the same reason i don't like locations. give players a way to destroy them damnit
You have Reno, which people consider too good. I'm sure there were cards that destroy locations. Those have the same fate as Platebreaker and anti-Secret tech, ie, unused because they're too specific and thus too limited.
This is a good chance for Blizzard to not print any more dog cards like reska and boomboss and all that nonsense bring back old enjoyable hearthstone when the board was not just big dumbing trash
It's a delicate balance. Remember the "fun and interactive" times pf hs where the opponent killed you from hand while sitting behind infinity ice blocks? 😅
@AB0BA_69 that had more interactivity than 6 tnts in your deck with no steam cleaner in rotation or playing your favorite big sticky minion just for yogg to steal it
the ship has 3 pieces with spellburst that activates deathrattle, and 3 pieces that deal attack damage on deathrattle, each spellburst pieces activates all 3 deathrattles that deal damage, so it's 18x3x3=162 dmg
No offense uncle Dane, but your explanation as to what the starship mechanic is for somebody who genuine has no clue about this expansion is not that great. Imma try and give it a shot myself: Starship pieces are regular, fair minions. Nothing insane but also not utter trash you'd only ever play for the starship mechanic. If a starship piece dies you create a dormant minion that requires a payment of 5 mana to wake up. Any further dead starship pieces add to the current dormant one. The starship is has a combination of all the stats and effects of all starship pieces that have died before launch. After launching a starship any further dead starhip pieces start building a new one instead of adding to the active starship.

what?😅
Deck code
My favorite feature of starships is how they break the UI so badly that you have to reboot the game!

Anyone want some breast milk from the company fridge btw? 😊

I'm so excited for Dane shenanigans
Look at me, look at me, I am the Death Knight now
With the cards rogue has gotten in the last year, it's truly a golden age for dane decks
In the grim darkness of the present, there is only paywalled gameplay
Saw it live, the DK will be seeing Tess in his dreams for a long time 🤣
Loving the possibilities of the build your own combo here
I like how the starship is just spiting on them
@@ibragimsameev7792 do you know how airplane bathrooms work?
I didn’t realise the starship’s spellburst could trigger itself!
Same energy as FIRE ZE MISSILES
Big congrats on 100k subs!
Great content as always!
It’d be an early Christmas present if they rotate to this format early for all of standard lol
I imagine the starship UI on mobile devices is gonna be rough
It's been fine for me in the tavern brawl on mobile so far but we'll see after the actual set comes out
@ well that’s good. I no longer have a pc so mobile is my only source
was glorious seeing this live
Will you be able to use the new expansion cards even if you dont have any of them from pre-purchase packs
Only in the brawl
I've been seriously doubting the starship potential. Until now! Filthy, both of those big ones

Nice stuff. Ty♡
People are gonna start running the 5 mana destroy a starship card now 😂
Thumbnail : It's the ship from Skies of Arcadia on the Dreamcast, did I win a giveaway Dark Beyond set?
Dane, I love that shirt! Where did you get it from?
was that first guy hard-running two MC Techs?? That made me chuckle
Yea more rogue!!! ⚔️
This deck is soooooo powerful in the brawl, so fxcking crazy
Does Reno remove my starship even if I didn’t launch it?
Yesh
using cube and kraken to get more ship parts i want
DK is so broken 😭
Waiting for the bomb game
tfw shaman didnt get starships
priest,paladin,warrior,mage dont get any too

there is tech card for location and starships albeit only 1 cuz niche and tech

Arena is better value for tickets and gold, only play the brawl for fun.
Can someone explain the maths to me please for the ship damage as im too thick
Thanks
3x spellburst: trigger deathrattle, 3x deathrattle: deal current attack as damage to random target, 18 attack = 3x3x18=162
the ship has 3 pieces with spellburst that activates deathrattle, and 3 pieces that deal attack damage on deathrattle, each spellburst pieces activates all 3 deathrattles that deal damage, so it's 18x3x3=162 dmg
Why is it always warriors that create the most boring metas
