I'm looking into different options for tree and bush guards.. I was thinking about repurposing old political/advertising yard signs, they're generally made of chloroplast like these, just a lot shorter so maybe joining 2 would work out well..
Sounds like an excellent use for those old signs. With those you might actually prefer them to be a bit shorter, because they don’t let in light it might be too dark if they are made tall.
@@PracticalPrimate oh good point I see these are translucent hm. Maybe cutting slots for light to enter, that way it'll still offer deer protection. I have over 200 bareroot plants coming for my food forest microfarm so an inexpensive solution is needed, we have lots of deer,voles, groundhogs rabbits to protect them from.
