Interesting how some of the silliest games that they've played (This, Mount Your Friends, QWOP, etc.) have resulted in some of the most intense episodes of VS.

I played gears of war 3 all the time then i transitioned to judgment and back to 3 and had no idea how to do anything and it was when I had to get the insane campaign achievement.

If used right it's actually pretty cool. In tomb raider, it flashes when you shoot your gun (like a muzzle flash) and flickers red, orange, and yellow when you hold a torch. I mean its definitely just a gimmick but I could say the same about a lot of stuff that's supposedly "next gen".

I like to think that Gavin has two modes: pretty much functional "I'm going to go live life and record a slow mo vid" mode, and "Herpderp derpy derp" mode, which he turns on most of the time for work and for being drunk. So technically, it's not not trying purposely. It's that he's in a mode where he doesn't try.
Played through that game over one weekend to get the platinum. The gameplay is fun but it was lacking a strong narrative, your karma choice don't make that much of a difference in the long run.
