I think I'll get the Air Lite in the Clip Point version. It looks like a good slim carry like my American Lawman. I like my AUS10A Voyagers. It's good steel for me.
I have one in drop point. For me it took care of an issue I have with the code 4. Which is slick handles. This is just as slim. Possibly lighter. And with G10, tons grippier without being over the top. And I got it at a tick under $80. I do have a couple of lawmen, different generations. And I like this better. Tho I wish it had a taller blade and grind. I still love and carry a code 4. But this is a good alternative to it. IMHO. I also have different generations of recons. And this carries better. And I would bet my life on either. Don't have a stormcloud yet. But maybe in the future. I do have a broken skull. And kinda like this knife better. It also opens and closes very slick!
I am SUPER interested in the drop point version of this. May be the ultimate cross between a gentleman knife and a hard use knife. Even though there are other good knives in the price range, there's nothing that is as low-profile and suitable for office carry, but still as tough.
@@Jimislash love the lawman, would even love this to have that choil. However, I guess what I like about this for office carry (whenever THAT will happen again) is how un-tactical it looks. Lawman is not terrifying to folks, but still has some tactical-ness (yeah, that's a word now) to it.

I am extremely tempted to get the Air Lite Tanto and the SR1 Lite Tanto to complete the trifecta :p Really feel like the Khan is just the little brother of the Air Lite. I've missed Cold Steel, and these few models are making me fall in love again.
I FINALLY found my first Cold Steel in a brick and mortar store. The Mini Recon 1, that same day I found a Prolite and a Mini Tuff Lite. Hoping they still have the AK-47 when I get to go back.
Every double sided thumb studded knife I've ever owned had the same size thumb studs on both sides. Never saw one w stud smaller. I agree, if you are going to put them on both sides, they should be even. $85 for aus 8. Oh heck no. Luv ya brother.
i love my air lite! the size and weight feel in hand all of it is great. I too wish it had a lanyard hole but not a deal breaker. I only paid 65$ for mine which I think is a steel for this knife. It is one of my favorite knives i own at the moment

Typically the difference is materials. A $25-$30 Pro Lite has Krupp 4116 steel and glass reinforced nylon handles. The Air Lite has Japanese Aus10 steel and G10 handles (which makes me feel like this is more of a $60-ish knife rather than $80-ish). There isn't much difference beyond that between this and the Pro Lite or Working Man.
Awesome knife, but there's never a situation that you could chop with this knife that you could just cut. If you can't cut it with this knife and need to chop said object this knife is not where it's at. I could understand some light chopping with an XL Voyager, but that is a 5 1/2 inch blade, but chopping with a 3 1/2 inch blade NO friggin way!!! Other than that great video

I think it’s overpriced, I got lucky and got one for $50. That’s the price it should be. You could get a lawman, code 4 , or a recon 1 with S35vn for $85.

I like the knife I do however agree with the need for a lanyard hole. I like lanyards mostly for finding the knife if dropped out camping or fishing.

It's a good one. I'd still take the Lawman, even for the office, but you won't go wrong with this one.
